CBT Licence at feltham

Feltham CBT Training Schools

RideTo has two great CBT Training Partner Sites in and around Feltham. Heathrow Motorcycle Training offers CBT training 7 days a week and is convenient for anyone living in Feltham or Hounslow to get to, being only a 20-minute walk or 10-minute bus ride from Feltham Train Station. The CBT course takes place at the Feltham & Hanworth Airparks Leisure Centre and the site has an indoor classroom space where you will spend some of the training days learning from your instructor, how to control a bike before then trying it out for yourself on the training pad. There are some local shops nearby where you can grab some food during your lunch break and tea and coffee facilities on site. The school provides all of the motorcycle gear you will need to stay warm and protected while on your CBT course. You could also book CBT training at West London Motorcycle Training which is situated a short bus ride or 30 minutes walk away from Feltham Train Station in Bedfont. They require you to bring your own gloves to training, however they supply you with a helmet and protective jacket.

What To Wear To CBT Training

Although both local CBT training schools provide some or all of the gear you will need, make sure you turn up wearing suitable clothing, if you don’t you may be turned away as your instructor will be unable to train you for your own safety.
You must wear sturdy boots that cover your ankle. While these don’t need to be motorbike specific boots (although great if they are!) wearing trainers or even high top trainers would not be suitable.
Walking boots or leather boots with ankle support are what you need to wear in order to protect your feet and ankles as much as possible when riding a motorbike.

Check out the selection of Motorbike Boots we stock on the RideTo store - all sorts of designs at great prices from brands like RST, Richa, TCX and Oxford.
The other item of clothing you must wear are sturdy trousers such as jeans. These can’t have any rips in as they need to protect your legs if you were to fall off your bike. Tracksuit bottoms, leggings or shorts will not be acceptable.
If you want to plan ahead of time and kit yourself out with motorcycle clothing before you pass your CBT course, we have some great Motorcycle Trousers and jeans in lots of styles.
From leather style trousers to make you look like a pro to denim Jeans woven with Kevlar for added protection which you can wear while out and about and not look out of place even when off your bike.
To check out examples of what clothing is and isn’t accepted for CBT training, check our Clothing Guide.
Please check on the CBT Training Partner school profile or your email confirmation what exactly what gear you must bring with you (for example gloves, helmet or jacket).
