Big thank you to Dom and Rich for helping me to get my full bike license. I enjoyed the experience. The training and direct feedback were great. We had fun along the way. Have recommended them to my mates

I had a great experience doing my first CBT with Off the Kerb yesterday. I had no experience but by the end of the day I felt very confident on the bike. The instructors have a ton of knowledge and are very patient. I would 100% return in the future and I recommend to other ladies, I felt super comfortable being the only female that day. Thank you!

I absolutely loved my training and the time I spent at Off The Kerb for my CBT. The instructors were both so lovely and patient with us all, especially Peter Evans! He was extremely helpful and boosted my confidence throughout the day! Since I was the only female that day, I was a bit anxious but by the end of the day I did not want to leave at all! I felt comfortable riding on the main road and excited to come back for more Motorcycle training!

I need to give an outstanding review to this place. I walked into this facility for the first time with literally no experience riding a motorcycle. I had never ridden a motorcycle in London, ever.
Since then, I completed a CBT course, manual conversion course, a two day 650cc bike course and passed the module 1 and module 2 tests on the first try, for a full unrestricted motorcycle licence!
I can only attribute this to the outstanding instructors that guided me throughout the whole course. The instructors were incredibly knowledgable, always engaged and paid a lot of attention to detail. They answered all your questions with care and attention. Riding outside they were constantly giving feedback on everything you do. I was able to pass both my modules on the first try. This company deserves fantastic feedback.
A really big thank you to everyone there!

I highly recommend Off The Kerb. I did my full DAS course here and passed my Mod 2 a month ago. Dom was an excellent instructor! Thank you mate!

I cannot recommend this training school enough! I went from having rode a motorbike once to achieving my full licence with them. As a novice they suggested it was best that I took my CBT on an automatic and then complete the gear conversion course to give me maximum time on the road with an instructor which I think was a great idea. After completing this, I started my MOD 1&2 training which was very comprehensive and gave me all the confidence I needed to complete both exams. Peter, Richard and Dom are all incredibly knowledgable and each have their own way of putting you at ease on the bike whilst progressing your learning in a safe and positive way. I am very grateful for all their help, and getting me ready for the road!

Absolutely loved doing my CBT with Richard! It rained all day and he still managed to keep the group entertained with his incredible knowledge of basically everything! Fantastic skills and a very funny way of delivering what could be a long day.
Thanks so much!

Great place to do the training for your license. I had the 4 day DAS training booked and passed both MOD 1 and 2 first time. Both trainers I dealt with were fantastic, always quick to offer advice and answer any questions you have. Richard was especially hilarious and has a way of making you learn from your stupid mistakes while still making you laugh.
Really happy I chose this place to do my training.

Went from being a non rider never been on a motorbike to passing my full Cat A test within 3 weeks and scored zero minors on my mod 2 test thanks to the guys here. During my time I had Pete with my CBT and Dom and Rich for my DAS course. Each day was informative, fun and relaxed. You get what you want out of it. They cover all the essentials but if you ask more questions they have all the answers.
Rich has a wonderful way of calming the nerves through his driving historical tours of the localities and it was super appreciated.

Good motorcycle instructors in London are hard to come by, trust me. Luckily Off the Kerb has three, so big shout out to Richard, Dom and Adam for all your support during my CBT and DAS. Passed my Mod 1 and 2 first time. Forever grateful to Off the Kerb and their top team!

Absolutely brilliant experience with the Off the curb guys. Fantastic instructors, friendly atmosphere, just pure joy. The instructors were very professional, punctual, and approachable. I would also like to say that Richard is a walking encyclopaedia and if I ever decide to go on ' Who wants to be a millionaire ' , he will be a friend who I would ring. š
I will definitely book my DAS as I don't want to ride around with a "Loser" sticker on my scooter. Let's just hope that they have available slots in the near future.

Off the Kerb (White City) were fantastic and I would strongly recommend them for doing motorcycle tests/training. I went from never having ridden a motorbike to first time passes on the CBT, Mod 1 and Mod 2 in 3.5/4 days. The courses were cheaper than others I looked at and easier to book onto.
The courses themselves were great with riders only progressing when they are ready and confident.
All the instructors are very approachable and great at providing advice and tips on how to improve. Richard in particular was fantastic and he has very helpful across the 4 days. His pub quiz knowledge is also an added bonus that kept the days entertaining.
Many Thanks to the whole team.

Awesome! If you live anywhere west of Trafalgar Square this is the school to go to. Richard and Adam were a great team of instructors.
I've just completed my CBT and it was a great day. The time just flew by which is usually a good sign.
Not only was Richard a great and patient instructor but he was also interesting, entertaining and enlightening. Do a CBT with Richard Beardwell and you'll see what I mean.

Avoid at all cost , they don't have an office at shepherds Bush like they pretending so be warned as they working only online to take your booking or on the phone and once they take the money there is no arrangements , and if you arrive 5 minutes late they won't let you in "the army reserve centre" they using as it's not a which proper office difficult to get in touch when you get there specially if you don't know the area pretending that you are late , very rude instructors , very poor customer service , specially the lady that unswers the phone.

Finding it really impossible to make contact with anyone from Off the Kerb even though they are 'open' today. They're not there as I went to the site, not answering the phone lines and even their email contact set up didn't work from the website. Really disappointed with the lack of contact for people who had booked tests. How am I supposed to get in touch? A good company let down by really poor communications.

Passed my MOD 1 today. Only been on a bike 3 days. Dom was a fantastic instructor I couldnāt recommend him highly enough. The company more widely is also great, they are always happy to talk on the phone to make arrangements to work around you. I personally couldnāt have asked for more. Bring on the MOD 2. Thanks guys.

I've just finished my Full Bike License saga. I'm very grateful to the instructors. I was always amazed by their ability to recall during the debrief all the details of the prior ride and provide specific advice to the person.

Would highly recommend. Iāve sent my brother and 2 of my friends to this test school for their tests. The instructors are the best in London, they really take time to improve your skills and make sure you are confident and safe on the road. I did my CBT with Adam and thought he was very attentive and professional, he really prepared me for the full license. Great motorbikes if youāre looking to do youāre full license, Suzuki SV was just a dream to ride. MOD 1 and MOD 2 with Dom, who was just the best. He went out of his way to make sure that I was 100% comfortable and confident with all parts of the tests, made me practice until every move was perfect and was really supportive when I got very stressed and nervous prior to my tests, putting me at ease and giving me the confidence to pass both tests on the first go. Iām now fully licensed and canāt wait to get my first big bike! Thanks guys (also Stevie and John) for giving me the best experience I could have wished for!

I am very disappointed with the manner in which the CBT training was taught by this company.
I had no prior experience of riding a bike and had prior to booking the course spoken to a person at length in their āofficeā about the course and whether I should do a geared or non geared course and the fact I had never ridden a bike before.
Following our discussions I decided on a geared course as I eventually want to get a full bike license
On the day there were 4 people training for the CBT and I was the only one learning on a geared bike
At lunch time the instructor Adam said I was not good enough and he would not proceed with me any further.
The manner in which the course was conducted did not give me an opportunity to learn or practice my bike driving and in fact it has affected my confidence and I am extremely disappointed with this company.
I honestly did not really get much confidence at all.
I feel very very disappointed at the fact I was given very limited time to learn and the manner in which the course was taught and structured and did not allow me a reasonable period of time to learn.
I would not recommend this company at all and I would avoid Adam if he is your instructor.
I sent an email to them about two weeks ago and they still have not responded!!! Thatās the level of service and customer care you get!!!
Be warned!! Go elsewhere!!!

Overall very unhappy with the experience. The instructors are great, it's the "office" that I'm unhappy with. Did my CBT here in April 2017 so it was due to run out in April 2019. I didn't want to have to do it again so I went back in March to try and get my license before it ran out. Paid for the whole thing in advance, which is very overpriced btw but it was a convenient location for me so I did it anyway. Was due to have my mod1 on the afternoon of my second day of training but it was cancelled by the test centre. The office said that this was out of their hands so I'd have to pay for another day of training (something in the region of Ā£200). I neither had the time nor the money to do this and certainly no forewarning that this was a possibility. Already very unhappy but not the reason for the bad review. By this point, another day of training would take me past the expiry date for my CBT, so the office said they would write me a new one if I were to continue with the training. In fact, I was given this assurance even prior to booking - that if they can't schedule everything before the expiry date, they would write me a new one.
Due to lack of time and money, I was erring towards just asking for a refund for my final day, getting a new CBT certificate and moving on. However at this point, they changed their tune and said that if I didn't book another day and continue with the training, they would not write me another CBT despite the fact that I had already done 2 days of training with them (a day of training is basically equivalent to the CBT). To me, this makes absolutely no sense, and I expressed this to Peter who works at the office. The only motivation here is to squeeze more money out of you. I decided I didn't want to deal with these people anymore and got a refund for my final day of training. Would never go back or recommend to anyone as a result of this experience. I am still owed a CBT.

I passed my MOD 2 yesterday and would highly recommend Off The Kerb for anyone considering CBT or DAS. John, Steve and Dom are each great instructors who approach their teaching with an impressive level of patience and expertise with a view not just to having you pass the tests but to make you confident and accomplished riders. As Steve said to me just before my mod 2 "we want to get you to 110% so that you have room to breathe come the tests". Lovely guys to boot. Thanks team!

I took my CBT back in July with John and Adam. They were very patient and really care about getting you riding safely on the road. I had only ridden scooters abroad and had little experience, but they were very thorough and helped in building my confidence on the bike.
I always wanted to go for my full license and Tania in the office was beyond helpful. Helping me to book in my 3 lessons and Mod 1 and Mod 2 tests. I think I asked her a million and 1 questions and she took the time to go through everything with me.
I had my lessons with John, Steve and Dom and they were absolutely fantastic. Between them they have so much knowledge and experience. They were super patient, and great teachers. I passed both my Module 1 and Module 2 first time, and this was definitely down to the training I had with them.
Cannot reccomend this school enough....if you want first class training, look no further!
Thanks again guys!

I really want to thank the whole Off the Kerb team for all the support and professionalism!
The night before my CBT training, I suffered a small rib injury and wasn't sure I could make it. Therefore, I reached out on Facebook to know if there would be a possibility to reschedule - Fred kindly (and very quickly) got back to me with solutions for my situation.
The next day, I was feeling a little better so I decided to take some pain killers and go to the training anyways - it was definitely worth it! I received a friendly welcome from Adam and Dave and had a really amazing day. They were both very knowledgeable and knew exactly how to pass on their knowledge in a clear and fun manner.
I also would like to give a special thank you to Adam (who took me on the road) for his patience and attention - I was a little nervous out there and he knew exactly how to guide me and make me feel at ease.
I really look forward to coming back for a full license! :)

I would not recommend this school at all. Save your money and go to a different school. I had a very bad experience with this training school. Trainer was very rude and unprofessional. I had previously driven bike for many years and have full Car UK license for 6 years. In the morning Trainer David was teaching us but when Adam took over it was a disaster.
First he was driving without helmet and drove bike without sitting on the seat. He said in the morning that he will not take me on the road with out even seen my skills. Basically made up his mind by look at my face. And in the evening that's what he did around 13:30. He said I will not take you on the road and I said why is that. I just don't want to take you. I said I want to complain and he shouted," Go on and complain to the office". Attitude was so rude and arrogant like he is the GOD. As a trainer its his duty of care to explain what is the issue.
When I spoke to trainer David then Mr Adam started making different excuses . There is no check and balance on this trainers.
There should be some kind of control and checks on how these kind of rude and arrogant trainer like Adam is working in this industry. This school should be monitored because how they run these sessions. first of all They are using old and faulty bikes. Ripping innocent drivers from there hard earned money. They choose who they like to get on and get rid of people who they don't like.

Completed Mod 1 and Mod 2 tests with these guys and couldnāt fault the training or experience. I was trained by Steve, Dom and John who understood where my riding was at very quickly and worked with me directly to refine my approach to the road and the examinations. Steve at āOff The Kerb Motorcycle Trainingā, kept me relaxed me with his calm manner and good humour. I was really worried about learning on a manual for the first time, but all their stage-by-stage steps helped me gain confidence by the afternoon. The site is safe and sufficient for CBT and part of the Mod-1 training. Instructors are experienced, excellent and helpful. You will feel confident to ride out with them, even at 70mph on A40. Supporting staff are also good too and can quickly rearrange your next test if you failed. Practical and no nonsense school, highly recommended.

Did my CBT and my unrestricted Mod 1 and Mod 2 (twice!) tests with these guys. They are friendly, supportive, down to earth and all round great teachers. I've done my CBT, mod 1 & 2 for a A2 license and mod 1 & 2 for my A licence. I've dealt with all the instructors and they are the nicest bunch of bikers you will ever meet. It went from learning, to a nice day riding! would recommend Off The Kerb to everyone!

I really wouldn't recommend Off The Kerb to do your CBT training course. I was a first time rider and I found the instructor to lack empathy and unable (or unwilling) to effectively support me in learning how to ride a motorcycle. Since my awful experience here I have successfully completed my CBT elsewhere and had the pleasure of being instructed by thoughtful and effective trainers. If you'd like to learn how to ride a motorcycle do it somewhere else and definitely avoid this place!

I quite enjoyed my training with John and Craig for both CBT and DAS. I was, however, outright appalled with the tone of an email exchange I had with Peter regarding a difficult situation I had with my booking.
I had a late cancellation in December for my Module 2, as I woke up very badly sick on the day of my test. All of my requests to offset at least part of the cost against a rebooking were refused. E.g. the school decided not only to keep the DVSA test fees and some other costs they would inevitably incur but the whole price of the motorcycle day including the profit margin, plus charge me another Ā£210 for a rebooking.
When I asked again while trying to rebook my test, I was offered a 'goodwill gesture' discount of ~3% of the total amount I would have paid to Off The Kerb to date. When I followed up with a justification why I don't find such a discount sensible, I have received a rude and sarcastic response from Peter.
I have never experienced sarcasm coming from a representative of an institution before, and find it exceptionally unprofessional. Sadly, my experience with OTK instructors will have a bad aftertaste because of Peter's attitude.

Great place to complete your CBT. Craig was an excellent instructor who provided lots of valuable tips and hints to feel safe on the road. It was great value for money and the groups are small so there is plenty of time to receive personalised feedback on your performance. I would highly recommend this company and can't wait to purchase a scooter and get out on the road!

Very pleasant and successful experience. Friendly, competent instructors and helpful back office when I had to change my MOD2 test date last minute. I passed my CBT training course with Off the Kerb two days ago and I have to say, I did NOT enjoy the whole experience at all.
Reasons:
- Bikes are very old;
- Reflective vest and gloves are so smelly and wet and I felt so sick;
- My instructor Steve used F word too often and were not very patient. In addition, some naughty jokes were not really suitable in this teaching environment.
-For other courses such as gear changing course you have to book at least 3 weeks in advance.
Today, I attended another training school in Battersea Park for gear changing course. Bikes are very new, clothes & vests are dry and clean. Most important is that the instructor was very encouraging, patient and never scolded me once. And I felt great and confident after the training.
I will definitely Not return to Off the Kerb for full access course. There are better options!

I did my CBT training with Off the Kerb at the start of the year and was really happy with the instructors so came back to do the A license training. All the instructors I had (Craig, Steve, Jon, Dom) were patient and relaxed throughout all the days of training and went over everything needed to pass both the MOD 1 and MOD 2 exams enough times for it to become second nature. They were supportive and helpful throughout and provided riding tips from their wealth of experience. Thank you all for your help and guidance, allowing me to pass first time!

Good trainers, Dom and Steve, in a friendly relaxed atmosphere. Learned a lot on site so happy and confident when did the road 'test'.
