Book A CBT Test In Slough
If you want to enjoy some of the fine roads this country has to offer on two wheels, then perhaps the best way to start is by taking your CBT Test in Slough.
CBT stands for Compulsory Basic Training, and if you want to get on the road on two wheels as quickly as possible, taking a CBT is your best bet. Unlike a full motorcycle or car test, you will not have to pass a theory test first, and you will not have to take any lessons - the CBT only takes one day.

What Happens During a CBT?
Your CBT will begin in the classroom, where your instructor will explain how to handle and control a motorcycle or scooter, both at slow speed and on public roads, as well as how to push it around when you are off the bike. They will also test your knowledge of basic highway code and teach you all about the safety equipment you will be wearing.
Once you’ve learned the theory of controlling a bike, it’s time to put that new knowledge to the test. Your instructor will first get you comfortable with your machine, and will show you how to push it in and out of a space. Then they’ll take you through a number of set routes and manoeuvres on their off-road training area. The instructor will be looking for you to confidently and safely handle your machine. Don’t rush, progress at your own pace.
Once your instructor is happy with the progress you’ve shown so far, it will be time to head out onto the road for the final part of the day. For the road portion of the CBT you will head out for a two hour ride with the instructor and another student. You and the other student will take it in turns to lead the convoy so the instructor will be able to assess you both equally. Once you return to the training centre, you will be handed your CBT certificate, which will remain valid for two years.
