Do I Need Any Experience Before Doing a CBT Test?
You don’t need to have ever been near a motorcycle before in order to attend a CBT test. The only knowledge you must have before your lesson is understanding the rules of the road by learning The Highway Code. If you show signs of not understanding road signs or lane positioning at roundabouts for example, your instructor may stop your training and ask you to come back again once you have learnt it all. Not only is this inconvenient to you, but you will also need to pay again as well - so make sure you know your stuff beforehand!
