Just choose your training type and select what type of motorcycle or scooter you would like to learn on and get on your way to life on two wheels.
Do I Need Any Motorcycle Experience To Do A CBT?
No you don't need any prior motorcycle experience we only ask that you’re able to ride an adult-sized bicycle. This just shows that you have a general balance and basic skills before you start the training itself.
The training is built to take complete beginners through all the skills they need to safely ride on the roads on a motorcycle or scooter.
What Do I Need To Bring With Me For My CBT Test in Bury?
Before you leave for your CBT test in Bury, you need to ensure you have two documents with you.
- You photocard drivers/provisional licence
- Your National Insurance number
Both of these are necessary for the instructor to be able to carry out a licence check. This check is essential to take place before your training can begin. It should be noted that you must have the physical documentation with you, a photo or a scan will not be accepted.
The very first element of the CBT is an eyesight test. You will be asked to read a licence plate for a distance of 20m. If you need glasses or contact lenses to see these kinds of distances then ensure you have them with you. If you cannot pass the eyesight test you will be unable to proceed with your training.
The last thing we recommend bringing to your CBT test is a packed lunch and some water. Not all of our schools have shops in the immediate vicinity so make sure you’re fuelled up and ready to go.
