Where are the CBT test centres in Oxford?
Oxford has the option of two different CBT test centres based in either Swindon or Reading. Both of these CBT test centres require you to bring your own motorcycle gear as they do not offer motorcycle gear hire. For the latest in protective gear, check out our RideTo store. You will be able to find the right type of protective gear for any riding discipline, from social riding, commuting, all the way to courier. We also cover all new riders essentials, such as boots, jackets, helmets, bike locks, gloves and many many more.
How much does a CBT test cost in Oxford?
You can either pay £155 at Swindon or £170 at Reading. This pricing at both CBT test centres includes motorcycle hire. If you are cost savvy, we recommend signing up for our ‘Peace of mind policy’. This policy will cover you should your instructor decide you need an extra day of training before completing your CBT certification. With the peace of mind policy in action, the second CBT test will be free, meaning you can save upwards of £155 on a second CBT test in Oxford. Full t&c’s can be found here.
What happens if I can’t attend my CBT test in Oxford?
We recommend letting us know as soon as possible if you are no longer able to attend your CBT test, to amend or cancel your booking. Make sure to get yourself familiar with our terms and conditions when it comes to our cancellation and refund policies . With enough notice, you may be allowed to rebook your CBT test on a different day.
If you are late to your CBT test, the instructor may not wait for you as there is a lot to cover in one session and there will be other students in your class, keen to get started. Unfortunately, you can not join a CBT test once it has begun as you would have missed out on vital information required by the DVSA. As a result, you will forfeit your payment for the day. So make sure you are on time to your CBT test in Oxford!
