I recently passed my CBT. I would highly recommend Direct Rider Training. Adam was patient, very informative, and safety was paramount for him and his riders.
Both Adam & Alex are fantastic blokes, I can't thank them enough. If you want to learn to ride safely, and with excellent teachers then pick Direct Rider Training.

I have just done my CBT today (28/06/24) with Adam. Adam was extremely helpful, encouraging and professional. Having passed my CBT a few times I can say Adams teaching is second to none. Would highly recommend and look forward to doing my full license with him in the future. Thanks again Adam.

Super professional team right from the start of the call you make to book, all the way to the end of your training. Very smooth process, the team take their time to explain as well as answer any questions you may have. They focus on you, to turn you into a safe/quality rider not to just pass the tests. Major factor is that they only train two at a time per instructor. That means they offer you the time and dedication for them to spot the flaws and the cons of your progression targeting the area where more practice is needed. That shows loyalty and commitment to their profession as well as expertise. Many other riding schools I considered before them were doing training in larger groups but also more expensive! Speaking of price, excellent value for money if you fail the resit is payed by them, thats showing confidence in the training provided by them that you will not fail but pass first time. Highly recommend them to anyone thinking about riding motorcycles, whether they have never ridden one or have but want to refresh and further develop their skills as a rider.

I really wouldn’t bother booking with these. The lady that takes your booking is very professional but I’m afraid that’s where it stops. I wish I’d read the reviews before booking. It’s explained very well that you need the correct attire which is great. My son turned up for his CBT this morning with two options for his footwear. The instructor, who was late himself, making it very aware that he’s had a bad start to the morning, then told my son that he didn’t have the correct footwear on. My son produced his second option that fully covered his ankles and was no different to another member in the group that he allowed to continue. The instructor had already made his mine up to end my son’s day, before it even began. He wouldn’t even let him change to demonstrate that they covered his ankles. He did all this while rolling a cigarette, right in front of him. I can’t comment for all the instructors but we were unfortunate to have one with no professionalism whatsoever.

Just completed my Direct Access with Alex and he was fantastic, I went from a super nervous newbie dropping the bike all over the place to very comfortably passing. It's not just the techincal side of instructing that is amazing, Alex also has a great understanding of psycology and mental blocks for tests. If you have any sort of issues ie you work odd hours. he can come up with a tailor made course just for you. Also had some great laughs along the way, I would highly recommend these guys for any motorcycle training needs.

Completed my cbt with Paul, what a brilliant experience. Very patient and knowledgeable trainer, really helped explain things thoroughly and felt totally safe out on the roads. Paul made the day so relaxed and easy going it was exactly the right tone to get the best from everyone. I cannot recommend more highly, thank you so much.

What an amazing trainer. Very knowledgable ,very thorough and very patient .Iv never rode a motorbike before today and he completely put me at ease.

Passed my cbt recently with Paul. Lots of learning and laughs on the day, thanks Paul. Such a safe, relaxed and enjoyable environment to learn in and loads of great tips. I will be back for my DAS. Cannot recommend Direct Rider Training highly enough. Paul is very patient and knowledgeable.

Yay I've passed Mod 1 and Mod 2.
I couldn't have asked for a better instructor than Alex. I have quite a few medical conditions. Alex was aware of this, and what made it even better is that he understood. He knew when it was getting to much for me, and when I needed to stop.
Alex is a great bloke, kind, caring and a good laugh.

Did my cbt today with no experience other than being a passenger. My instructor was very good and made sure I was safe on the road. Highly recommend them great group of dudes who you can have a laugh with at the end. Definitely going to be recommending them to my bike crazy family 😁😁

I am an older cbt trainee for insurance requirements and have not riden a bike since 1977. Boy am I glad I took the cbt with these guys!
At 63 years old I needed to relearn the skills and I could not be in better hands. The skills training is modular from real basics and the progression to eventually go live on road is perfect. Recommended.

I had booked a cbt with them right after i passed my theory. They couldn't be more accommodating and helpful. I did my cbt with Adam who was an amazing teacher that was calm and patient. He made sure that not only was he satisfied that I was safe on the bike but that I felt safe and confident on the bike and when you have never touched a motorcycle before was really reassuring. I cannot recommend this company enough, I will be sure to go to them for all my future motorcycle training in the future!

I cannot recommend Direct Rider Training enough! Alex is such a nice guy and a fantastic trainer, he stays calm and explains why you do what you need to go. He goes above and beyond in the training, not only teaching you how to pass your test but also how to be a safe rider when out in the real world. I would suggest Alex and Direct Rider Training to anyone I know who is considering getting their motorbike license.

Completed my DAS with Alex, he’s a fantastic instructor. He’s very patient, his tone never changes and he teaches you to ride to a very high standard, higher than required to pass a test, which as an inexperienced rider is 100% necessary and comforting!
