Compulsory Basic Training or CBT is the first stage of motorcycle training which lasts around 6-8 hours on one day. You're required to take a CBT if you wish to ride any form of motorcycle. You will need a provisional licence and your NI number on the day of training. The day itself consists of 5 parts, 4 of which will be off-road. The final stage will be an observed road ride.

The Edgware site is based on the high street, which is about 5 minutes walk from Edgware station on the Jubilee line and our Wembley site, which is on Lumen Road, is between two stations, South Kenton and North Wembley.

Once you have completed your CBT you will be able to ride a moped, scooter or 125cc motorcycle if you're over the age of 17. If you are under the age of 17 then you will only be able to ride a 50cc powered machine.
The first step to getting your full motorcucle licence is getting your CBT. After that you will need to take a motorcycle theory test. This will cost £23 and can be booked on the gov.uk site and is made up of a theory and hazard perception test.
After you have done both of these steps you will have to complete some full motorcycle training days. This can be anywhere between 4-7 days depending on your experience and skill.

Motorcycle Lessons in North West London cost as little as £99. However, unlike a car driving licence to get on two wheels you don't need to take extensive motorcycle lessons to enjoy the freedom of a motorbike.
