Can I Fail A CBT Test?
The first thing to know is that CBT actually stands for Complsuroy Basic Training. So no it isn’t a test and you cannot ‘technically’ fail. That being said, the training is made up of 5 elements, if you’re unable to demonstrate your learnings to the instructor, they may ask you to come back for further training. Remember the idea is to ensure you’re safe to head out onto the roads so it’s in your interest to learn as much as you can.
The CBT is not designed to try and catch you out, so just relax and listen to the instructor. If you’re unsure of anything then don’t be afraid to ask, it’s what the instructors are there for.
What Is A Peace Of Mind Policy?
The Peace of Mind Policy was designed to help riders who may be a little nervous about their training. Usually, if you’re feeling nervous on the day of training or the instructor feels you’re not quite up to speed, you will be asked to come back for the second day of training. This will usually be charged at the same rate as your first day. If you purchase the Peace of Mind Policy we will cover the cost of your second day of training, saving you up to £150!
You have to do your bit though! Our Peace of Mind Policy does not cover late arrival or being turned away for wearing the wrong gear. A lack of knowledge of the highway code will not be covered. See the full ts and cs here.
