Done CBT and refreshers with these guys. Just spent a week with Simon doing the intense course towards my full licence. Very patient. If I didn't understand or get something he always had a way to explain it. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Excellent 👍🏻 CBT refresher provided by Ian today, I have done a few CBT’s before and I would say I learnt the most from this one than any other I had done before. Ian riding knowledge and road knowledge is amazing and he delivers the training in a relaxed 😎 manner, if you make a mistake he advises how you can correct it so you learn from it. I will definitely be using 1st again 😀🛵🏍️👍🏻

Did my CBT here a few days ago. And let me just say it was the best place I could have went to. The instructor Ian went through everything thoroughly and helped me as someone who’s never been on the road before, have a great understanding of the road rules and what to do and what not to do. Really enjoyed the motorcycle training program. As someone who with limited experience with motorcycles, I was a bit nervous when I signed up for the course, but Simon quickly put me at ease. I had the chance to attend the 3 days program and we covered both MOD 1 and MOD 2. Simon's training for MOD 1 was very thorough and focused on the essential skills needed to pass the test. He helped us practice each manoeuvre required for the test. RE: MOD 2 - He provided us with detailed guidance on how to navigate different road conditions and traffic situations, and helped us practice essential skills like observation, signalling, and positioning. Simon's patient and supportive approach helped me feel confident and relaxed during the test, and I passed with flying colours thanks to his excellent training. Overall, the entire program including initial assessment was outstanding. His emphasis on safety, attention to detail, proper technique and personalized feedback helped me become a confident and competent motorcycle rider. I highly recommend his training services to anyone looking to pass their motorcycle test and become a skilled/safe rider.

Great lads. They can't do enough to help you learn and master bike riding. Even when that 1 person in the group can't do a U-Turn, they work closely with them to ensure they get it eventually. Highly recommended.

Did my CBT with Simon, great day of training on a manual bike. Very patient trainer, loads of experience, well maintained bike. It is a long day, so be prepared with some drinks and food for yourself for the day. Will forever be thinking about my "Lifesaver" now and will never wear trainers on a bike!!

I had my CBT training here two days ago and I'm still happy about it today! Even before I booked my Training with them I got friendly and kind response over WhatsApp on what I need to have and apply for. The training itself was very informative and beneficial without being boring or too much. Our instructor Ian was very kind, empathetic and professional. I felt safe during all the training and looked after very well. So happy to have my certificate now 😊 I would definitely recommend anyone else that place. Words cannot even describe how I feel right now, if your interested in learning to ride a bike whether it's your CBT or working towards a full bike licence, then Simon Williams from 1st Motorcycle training is the guy I would recommend without a shadow of a doubt, I wouldn't look anywhere else. If I was to be offered a better deal in price from another training centre then I would turn it down within a heartbeat. Professionalism and friendliness from start to finish, whilst receiving the training my confidence wasnt the best to start with, but with Simon's help he made me overcome myself and I passed both my Mod 1 and Mod 2 bike tests. Simon your an absolute legend and thank you for your time and making my training soo enjoyable.

Having no previous experience of riding motorcycles, only my trusty bicycle, it was not without initial trepidation and nerves that I did my CBT yesterday. Needless to say, our instructor, Ian was brilliant, very experienced, patient and confidence inspiring. On the road we were joined by Simon, the other instructor, who was equally patient but also keenly observant of the basic mistakes I made. You’ll learn a hell of a lot from these guys and they will inspire you to be a safe and confident rider. Thoroughly recommended!

Simon has to be one of the best in the UK. With the time, skill and experience to put into every student he has. He got me from never riding to pass a DAS in a month and a half. He won't rush you or shame you he will get you where you need to be safely and happily to pass every test. Can't thank him enough really. Fair prices and great bikes to learn on. 10/10 A***

I did my CBT then 4 day DAS with Simon and passed the mod 1 & mod 2 tests first time. I went from having never ridden a motorbike to fully licensed in less than 1 month. I had the 3 day direct access training, I had little to no experience on a bike other than a passing the CBT a year prior... Given that Simons at 1st Motorcycle training got me thorough MOD 1 & 2 Simons teaching style really suited me. There was zero fluff, well practiced and articulated instructions to help a person with nearly zero motorbike experience. Not just that he's an interesting guy, definitely important if your going to spend the next 3 days learning and tweaking your motorcycle skills. By the end of the direct access training you'll be more than compitant for your exam - trained to a higher standard than the exam requires for sure I highly recommend 1st Motorcycle Training

Completed my Direct Access course recently Simon has the patience of a saint and made it very clear what was needed to be done. I had not been on a bike since 1987 and that was a push bike so if like me you're a beginner I cant recommend 1st motorcycle training enough.

I was quite worried about some aspects of the mod 1 but Simon gave clear instruction and helped me get through it with 0 rider faults. Exceptional training. I hadn't owned a motorcycle since 1991 but with Simon's direction I achieved my CBT on day one. I then did the three day direct access and passed both elements at the first time of trying. With 1st Motorcycle Training you're not only taught how to ride in order to achieve the standard required to "pass" you're taught how to be a safe rider. Under their patient tuition and as long as you listen to everything you will exceed the expectations required of the examiners. I believe that no other motorcycle training centre will arm you with the skills required to be an accomplished rider.
