Can I wear jeans to my CBT test in Long Eaton?
We strongly advise that all clothing you wear on a motorbike carries a CE safety rating to protect against abrasion and impact, protecting you from breaks or road rash.. Although you may own some strong jeans, if you are unfortunate enough to meet with the tarmac, jeans will not last long. Look out for kevlar lined products, such as our staff pick, the RST metropolitan kevlar jeans. The Kevlar could be throughout the whole garment or solely in the impact zones such as hips, thighs and lower legs. If you just can’t be separated from your Levis, you could also look into kevlar long johns to act as a protective barrier between you and the road.
If you don’t know where to start, we have covered everything you need to know in our article ‘Buying motorcycle trousers - A beginners guide’.
