What Type of Motorbike Can I Ride After a CBT Test?
As long as you are 17 years of age or older, you can legally ride any manual or automatic moped, scooter or motorbike that has an engine power of up to 125cc, after completing and passing a CBT test
If you want to ride an electric scooter/motorbike the limit is 11kw (15bhp).
Those learning to ride at 16 can only ride a 50cc moped with a maximum speed of 28mph until they turn 17.

If a 125cc / 11kw bike doesn’t cut it for you, after your CBT you will need to do a Full Licence Course. This course consists of multiple days of training followed by 2 practical tests and you are also required to complete a theory test first.
