Completing a CBT Test Near Worthing
Worthing has a great CBT test centre just down the road in Southwick on the edge of Brighton. Easily accessible by train, just a 7-minute walk from Fishersgate Station is Saferide Motorcycle Training School.
They have a large training pad on their grounds and a fantastic fleet of bikes for you to learn on.
West of Worthing is Phoenix Motorcycle Training in Bognor Regis, being slightly further afield it’s probably more suited to those living in Worthing who can drive a car to their CBT test.
What Documents Are Needed For A CBT Test
There are only 2 documents you need to take with you to your CBT test in Worthing. The most important is your driving licence, this can be a full UK driving licence if you already drive a car or a provisional driving licence if you are yet to learn to drive.
If you have previously lived outside the UK in the EU and your driving licence is an EU licence you must make sure you have its UK counterpart licence number with it to be valid.
The other document you need is your national insurance number, just in the case of a licence check.
What To Wear To Your CBT Test

You must also come with protective ankle boots that are sturdy - you can see some examples of what is and isn’t acceptable in our CBT clothing guide.
Other items may or may not be provided by your instructors when you turn up to your training. Check what’s included in the school's profile on our website or by checking your confirmation email once your CBT test is booked in.
If you’re required to bring a full kit with you, you will also need to wear a thick, outdoor jacket or motorcycle jacket, gloves that are CE approved and a helmet that fits with the UK safety requirements. Find out more about this in our helmet guide.
