What Is A CBT Test?
A CBT is the first step to getting on two wheels. It comprises of a day of training usually lasting 6-8 hours. Your instructor will show you everything you need to know to safely get out on the road. Read more about exactly what happens on the day of training here.
What Do I Need To Bring With Me?
On the day of training, you will need to bring with you your photocard provisional licence. You will need a physical card, pictures or scans will not be suitable. Alongside this, you will need your national insurance number. Both of these documents are essential as it enables the insulators to carry out the required licence checks needed before you can start your training. One of the first parts of the training is to carry out an eyesight test so if you wear glasses or contact lenses then you will need to ensure you have them with you. If you cannot complete the eyesight test your training cannot go ahead.
We also recommend you bring a packed lunch and some water with you on the day of training as there may not be shops local to the training centre.
