Can I Do A CBT Test Near Chichester?
We have a wide range of training schools near Chichester so you can be sure to find the best availability with RideTo. We have schools in Bognor Regis, Emsworth, Portsmouth, Gosport and Wickham.
Do I Need Any Experience to Do A CBT Test?
Whilst you don't necessarily need any experience on a motorcycle, we do ask that you be able to at least ride an adult size push bike. This helps with the understanding of balance and momentum which directly transfer to the skills needed to ride a motorcycle.
Some of our schools are able to offer an Introduction to Motorcycling course which is aimed to help build your confidence before going ahead with your CBT. This is perfect for anyone who may be worried about the CBT test itself.
What Do I Need To Bring With Me To My CBT Test?
You will need to ensure you have your provisional licence with you on the day of training. A photo or scan will not be accepted. You will also need your national insurance number. Both of these documents are essential to enable the instructors to carry out the licence check required by the DVSA. If you do not have these with you you will be unable to train.
If you need glasses or contact lenses to see distances then you will need to ensure you have them with you as this is one of the first parts of the CBT test.
Make sure you bring a packed lunch and some water with you to keep your energy levels up. There may not be any local shops nearby so make sure you have something with you.
