This was a great school to learn for my direct access course. Having already done my CBT and had some experience on an auto bike I was able to get to grips with a manual bike and pass my Mod 1 and 2 first time thanks to patient instructors and the large car park course at QE school, thanks for the help! I'd recommend this school to anyone in the area.

Just passed my mod1, then following day mod 2, my Instructor Johan made this a very enjoyable experience, calm clear instructions, and firm but fair guidance on any faults or issues , altogether this put me at ease and made my training informative and enjoyable, I would highly recommend Johan and his service. And I will spread the word to anybody I hear that is needing any form of motorcycle training or testing.

Did my CBT this weekend and thoroughly enjoyed it. Was a bit nervous at first but was made to feel comfortable and relaxed.

The team of Johan and Ian were really great, they are extremely professional and patient. They took me through the CBT , Mid 1 & 2 from start to finish and not only taught the syllabus, but provided a wealth of knowledge and advice based on their experience. A great experience that took me on a journey from "bikes are dangerous and should never be ridden" to " I freaking love motorbikes". It started with a CBT on an automatic 125cc, to manual familiarization and then Mod 1 and Mod 2 training that resulted in me and my husband achieving our Category A license this week. Phil was an excellent instructor, calm, considered, clear, he knew I had the capability and gave me the confidence and most importantly the joy of riding. Can't rate them enough. Great training, great results.

Fantastic training!
I was re-taking my soon to be expired CBT and my instructor was amazing.
Really patient, spent 2 hours on the road with me (which just whizzed by!), gave me critical feedback, telling me what I did well on, what I needed to improve on, and was fully supportive of my learning.
Would highly recommend this school, and will definitely return in the (near) future for my full licence!

Ask for Johan
The instructor was calm and consistent on delivering his experience and knowledge on becoming a good rider. Not only did I ride away with a full licence, I drove away feeling confident as a rider!!!

Can’t recommend this training school high enough, from start to finish Johan has been an excellent instructor, he passes his infinite knowledge on in a relaxed manner so you are learning all the time whilst it just feels like a ride out. Passed both modules first time one day after another, couldn’t have done it without the unparalleled training, thanks again Johan.

I was absolutely nervous and petrified of the whole process and procedure and was in two minds whether to even pursue a motorcycle licence. However signing up with Pheonix was probably the best thing I could have done. I got extra help, motivation and proper road skills. I passed mod 1 and 2 first time and in 3 weeks am a different person after one of the most exhillarating periods of my entire life.
The instructor Johan knows pretty much everything including almost the exact test examination route and everything they will ask in the tests. What was once an insurmountable nearly impossible task was broken down into parts and taught to me and every ride on the bike was a learning experience.
i am grateful for the time and instruction and would reccomend Pheonix to anyone especially if you may need extra coaching of help or are a bit older like me.
The kawasaki bikes were utterly amazing I wish there was a mod 3.
