Nic our instructor for the day was absolutely spot on, 58 years young I’ve never ridden a bike ever before, but the day was structured the training was A1, & the ride out on the roads was a hoot, with great instructions from Nic. If your thinking of doing your CBT look no further than Beta Biker Rider Training highly recommend

Went into CBT today not knowing what to expect and quite nervous having no motorcycle experience. Nick is a fantastic instructor. Very thorough and professional but in a friendly manner making the course enjoyable. I would definitely recommend Nick at Betta Biker Rider Training for anyone wanting to do their CBT. My father in law has already booked his CBT with Nick after hearing about my experience today.

Great day of riding instruction for gaining a CBT. Nic makes the day easy, enjoyable and, all in all, a good laugh. Would definitely recommend to anyone who's after basic/refresher training or their full licence. Will 100% be booking my DAS through Betta Biker Rider Training in the coming months!!!

Went into the course extremely nervous: Nic was a delightful teacher who helped put me at ease & dealt with my anxiety so well. He's very well spoken & able to have a laugh with. Would absolutely recommend him to anyone looking to take a CBT, from high experience to no experience.

Excellent. Experience was evident ! Nic was just quality. I was returning to CBT after nearly 20 years away from any motorbike riding … An instructor that has a real skill at getting the right information across at the right pace . It was noticeable that Nic would explain a part of the course and if it wasn’t landing to me , he would approach the subject in a different way to broaden the learning! I hadn’t been on the road on a bike in nearly 20 years , .. by the end of the day , I felt that the day had given me the maximum value from the day .

Having come back to biking after almost 30 years away from the saddle, I decided it was sensible to get a review followed by instruction, BBRT was recommended by a biker friend of mine and thus I met Nic back on a wet winter day of November 2019 for my initial assessment, it is fair to say that there was significant room to improve, Nic communicated my shortfalls in a fair and constructive manner and we set about sorting them on a series of one to one three hour sessions. Steady improvement ensued but then lock down intervened so I didn't see Nic for almost two years. A new bike and many miles spent riding in Spain in late 2021, putting into practice what I had been shown, helped enormously with not only my confidence but also the pleasure of riding in a safer manner without spoiling the buzz. After not seeing Nic for a very long time it was with a little apprehension that we met on Saturday morning (28.5.22) for a catch up assessment. After several hours we pulled in to stop where I expected to learn what was next, it's fair to say I was "made up" with Nic's positive feedback, with the overall assessment meaning I had achieved the level required for the BMF Gold accreditation, none of which would have been possible without his interventions. Looking back to 2019 it's fair to say Nic was a hard taskmaster, firm but fairing with a straightforward means of communicating my shortfalls without making me feel silly. If you are serious about being a safer biker then look no further than BBRT

With the assistance of Nic @ Betta Biker, I have regained my BMF Blue Ribbon Advanced Rider Accreditation after around a 15 year lapse. I spent a pleasant Sunday in Feb 2019 with Nic scrutinising every detail of my ride on a wide variety of roads between Manchester and Matlock Bath preparing for my test. Despite myself having been a former “down-trained” CBT instructor, ridden for +35 years and approaching 900,000 miles, ridden as a despatch rider for 5 years, habitual track-day attendee, undertaken an off-road experience -day, an IAM motorcycle member, ridden green lanes with the TRF and studied “The Police Road-craft” manual, Nic was still able to find areas of my ride to make real improvement upon and instil a greater depth of understanding of some Road-craft principles and how to practically apply them in the real world.

I have been training with nick now for approx 8 weeks and would recommend any new rider to take this training. I have learned so much from him and I am still gaining new skills every time out with him. I wanted to become a better safer rider so I contacted him shortly after passing my bike test and feel this training is a must, you don’t get skills like This over night.
