About Phoenix Motorcycle Training - Swindon
Phoenix Motorcycle Training Swindon is based at Royal Wootton Bassett Sports Association and is an awesome new addition to the national range of Phoenix sites! Another MCIAC gold standard training school, keeping up the already well renowned reputation Phoenix has.
The instructors in Swindon are brilliant, all of which are Driving Vehicle Standard Agency (DVSA) approved! They all pride themselves on offering the thorougher training to ensure no matter your previous riding experience they can help you the best they can to get you onto two wheels! The instructors offer Compulsory Basic Training (CBT) courses 7 days a week, so no matter your schedule or experience the team in Swindon are dedicated to help you on your journey.
To help you further the site also provides onsite parking, and indoor classroom, motorcycle gloves, jackets and boots if needed! So if you're a complete beginner who is yet to have all your motorcycle gear Phoenix can provide those items to you. Please ensure you wear thick unripped jeans and bring a motorcycle helmet.
The training pad where you will complete your off road exercises is in a large flat area of the grounds. Giving you the best opportunity to practice manoeuvres including figure of 8's and road junctions to build your confidence being bering taken out onto the road ride.
The site is easily accessible via public transport, if you are travelling via Bus from Swindon take the 66 bus to Chippenham and get off at off at the Prince of Wales stop which is 200 meters from Phoenix Motorcycle Training Swindon. You can also get on the 55 gold which leaves every 20 minutes from Swindon, get off at Maple Drive and you'll have less than a 10 minute walk to the site.
Please ensure you bring yourself some lunch, snacks and plenty of water to keep yourself hydrated and fuelled throughout the day.
