Not been on a bike in over 20yrs, but S&K got me through my direct access and CBT in less than 8 weeks, including a 2 weeks holiday. The team have been amazing, brilliant friendly training, giving you confidence to do what you need too, clear advise to correct any errors, no pressure. Just laughs and enjoyment from day 1, the welcome pack helps you understand what's needed and sets out a plan and understanding. Passed both mod 1 & 2 with zero minors, so can't thank mark and simon enough. Not to forget the lady's in the office for being so helpful moving dates about due to work, nothing is too much for them, always having a laugh, great communication from CBT to final test. I set myself a challenge to pass my cat A by the end of the year and not knowing what I needed to do, I got in contact with S&K who were very friendly and gave me all the information I needed. The instructors are all amazing and will go out of their way to go the extra mile. Due to this I passed all my modules first time. Their bikes and equipment are all too notch. If you’re looking at getting your bike licence I would truly recommend this company and don’t wait around and get yourselves booked in.

Not a single complaint. I recently started with my CBT and went on to achieve a full license with S&K. I wanted to do everything in the shortest time possible so took whatever training slots and tests were available the soonest. I ended up with different instructors at different locations for each module which initially I felt had the potential to upset my training in some way. There were no issues....no matter the location or instructor the guidance given was spot on. I had 3 different instructors for the 3 elements, all were easy to get on with and made the whole process enjoyable.

I would definitely recommend S&K to anyone wanting to work on there motorbike training. The whole journey for me has been an awesome experience and hasn't taken that long to do. The instructors are really helpful and experienced and will work on personal improvement to get you where you need to be. If you want to complete your DAS I would recommend these guys. Worried about moving to an 650cc bike? - don’t! Instructors are great, friendly, patient and very clear with their instructions and direction. No sat around waiting-full days out on the road. Really helps build confidence and skill. Big thanks to Carl at Batley.

Excellent team of instructors, from cbt to full A license in 6 days! These guys talked me through every step of the way brushing up on all techniques needed to pass the mod1/2 and I can safely say they did a great job! Passed the mod 1 and 2 in the same day with absolutely zero faults, great tuition, very friendly staff, This is a brilliant school I would highly recommend.

Just passed my mod2 today and everything from the cbt, to mod1 prep etc until today's full license being gained was bang on with these guys. All helpful and friendly, down to earth folk. They were recommended to me by others and I've since recommended them to a few more friends who are using their training. Had my CBT on 20th October with Alan, he was very patient and kind to all of us and made sure we were doing everything correctly, he was also very knowledgeable and gave us tips and advices on how to look after our rides. He made us feel safe around town and during our training. Highly recommend to anyone and it was fun, we didn't even notice the time pass by.

Excellent service and friendly staff throughout. I’d always wanted to learn to ride a bike but never got round to it. As it’s my 40th this year I thought I would do something for myself as a treat. What a pleasure from start to finish. I did my CBT, mod 1 and mod 2 within a few months and passed first time. Would highly recommend.

Absolutely brilliant. I did my 125cc CBT, tried on a geared bike but I started to panic and could not seem to do the figure 8. After a couple of try’s the instructor suggested I try on an automatic and smashed it. Was nervous to begin with but the bloke who did it took his time with me and made sure I could do it all before proceeding. Very well given course for anyone who’s looking to do their CBT and would highly recommend.

I would recommend S&K Motorcycle Training to any new rider. Being a complete 'noob' myself, they recommended that I booked a pre-CBT training session before the CBT. I would whole heartedly recommend listening to them if they recommend this to you, it really helped me. Both pre CBT and actual CBT training was very good IMHO. The trainers were very supportive throughout and myself and the other trainees received loads of encouragement and assurance when struggling or making mistakes with anything. Ultimately I managed to complete the training but this is thanks to the trainers patience, guidance and support the whole way through. Most importantly I learned loads from the CBT thanks to the instructor and while I still have lots to learn and still needing to gain experience, I left feeling I could safely ride a motorcycle on the road which is exactly what I was hoping to achieve from the training.

Had my CBT today with Paula and even though there were a couple of hiccups along the way on my part, Paula was patient, calm and explained things to me in a way that was easy to understand. Thankfully I got my CBT certificate at the end of the day and that was down to how calm they made me feel while still letting me know if I did things wrong and always encouraging with how they let you know how to do better. They want us to pass and get ourselves out on the road so if you're thinking about it then do it and I would absolutely 100% recommend these guys, awesome from start to finish. Also Paula was funny as hell.

I had zero experience riding bikes when I first arrived and I've just passed my final mod 2 test, it took me less than a month. Been riding motorcycles for 43 years, didn't really think I'd learn anything but I did, teacher very nice person and likes a bit of friendly banter. Very good at her job. You will learn how to ride a bike safe. Couldn't recommend her enough. It was freezing cold but I really enjoyed spending time with this lovely woman. All the best to her she's defo a 5 star teacher. Passed my motorcycle test today !! Thanks to Simon and Paula who are both brilliant instructors, with a wealth of riding knowledge they are only too happy to share. They got me through my MOD 1 and MOD 2 test within the space of just over a month, even with the back log of test dates because of Covid. I enjoyed every minute of the lessons with them. Special mention for Kellie, who kept me informed with lessons, cancellations and test dates etc !! The guy was rude, the training was very poor when concerns about the bike were mentioned they were not addressed. The same with the gear the gear that was lent to us was very mouldy and smelly and ill fitting. Definitely not safe, the bikes were defective and should not have been on the road in my opinion. I think they put myself and other road users at risk. I would not use s & k motorcycle trading again nor would I suggest anyone else does. Booked a private lesson for two and there was another person there, specifically asked for 125cc moped was told yer that's fine when we got there we were told they don't even have any 125 cc scooters also had to wait for a hour each alone at the office because they had booked a third person on our private lesson, lied to us to get us through the door and then was all downhill from there.

My experience with S&K training was excellent, very helpful booking all my training and test for my full bike license. I came up from Oxfordshire as I couldn't obtain a test for 5 months, S&K got me both test with in about a month at a reasonable price with training, started on a Tuesday and by Friday had my mod 1&2 passed. Very pleased with the outcome a big thanks to Simon and his partner as they went that extra mile with training and the way it was delivered thank you James McGrath
