I went for my CBT and the first interaction I had with the boss was really unnecessary. I understand that people don't read the letters but I had the email up on my phone with the location on. The boss just lashed out at me and was being very sarcastic. I was now already uncomfortable so getting on the bike next was even harder. I think the instructors need to learn some people skills and really think about what they say to a complete stranger. I understand wanting to have a laugh and make it enjoyable but I don't think taking the mick straight away before getting to know that person is a great approach of a warm welcome.
Limited sizes of the equipment but they do say to being own if possible which I can now say I definitely recommend as my gloves were too big.
The instructor I had was lovely and she did help me to feel better after my fall. She tried to help my confidence but we both knew at the end of the session that I wasn't ready.

I recently completed my CBT with Susi and she was absolutely amazing. I struggled so much with confidence but she got me through it with incredible teaching strategies, patience and a warm and funny personality. I couldn’t recommend Tommy Bee Motorcycle and Susi enough. Thank you so much!

Completed my CBT on the 7th this month trained by susi and had a brilliant time she is very friendly and a good laugh learned a lot with her in one day will definitely be returning to Tommy bee’s to obtain my A2 after I pass my theory 😃👍

I would give zero stars but you can’t. If you want to be assaulted by the owner when you are trying to help get a bike fixed then go here. I have a crime reference available to anyone who is concerned. I personally wouldn’t feel comfortable having any one I know use this place.
The excuse he is giving is that he slipped and punched me through my open car window “by accident” BE VERY CAUTIOUS WITH THE OWNER AS HE WILL FLY OFF HIS HANDLE WITH ANY ONE.
Apparently not he first time doing this… he is fully aware where the cameras are

Absolutely brilliant set of people. Mark and Bill have hundreds of years of experience between them !!! All joking aside if you want tuition tailored for the individual then this is the place to go to. I passed my DAS with them, and had 'issues' with one specific part of the MOD1, we kept battling through and eventually found a solution that worked for me. Their time and patience was certainly put to the test by me. I cannot recommend them highly enough

Absolutely fantastic training school. Everyone I met was extremely friendly and helpful with no daft ego's that some schools suffer from. Passed first time thanks to Bill. His teaching style is a perfect mix of genuinely constructive criticism and positive reinforcement. Nothing but respect for him. Couldn't recommend this school enough. Thank you!

This is only a review on their pre-sales as I never used their services.
I wanted to book a CBT for my son and enquired with these guys via their website. I asked about availability and also asked if he could use his own bike. The reply I received from Jenny was:
"Please bare in mind that if anything happens to his bike ie breakdown/runs out of fuel etc- he will be left with his bike where it stands and the cbt will come to an end."
There are loads of motorcycle training companies so these guys won't be getting my business.

Started my motorbike training sometime ago with Susi. Having never ridden before, I found her to be patient, encouraging and a whole lot of fun! I passed my CBT on an automatic and then did a 1-1 conversion course to manual, also with Susi. Found this really beneficial.
Next, I did my DAS course with Bill, one of the nicest men you could ever wish to meet and an excellent, skilled biker. His tuition is thorough, calm, progressive and he has the patience of a saint! I felt ready for my Mod 1 in no time. Unfortunately, when it came to TEST, my nerves had other ideas! Crippling!! Bill would not let me give up though and reinforced my confidence every time. I finally passed in the bleak midwinter and this week, passed my MOD 2, first time, after the most brilliant support from everyone….Jenny, lovely Rob (who made sure my bike was running smoothly in all weathers), Susi and especially Bill. They all feel like friends ☺️
If you want to learn…..you couldn’t pick a better school.

I tried my hand at my CBT today with Susi, but unfortunately had to call it quits due to an old injury/ongoing health issue flaring up quite severely.
Susi did a great job at making as many adjustments as possible so I could continue with the day, unfortunately it just wasn’t my day.
Thanks Susi! You’re great, and I shall be returning at some point.

Well I completed my CBT today with Susi the instructor and I could not be happyer she was professional confidence boosting and an awesome sense of humour thankyou so much sorry I didn't provide the chocolate oranges I owe you see you again when it's time to renew.

Excellent experience. I did the Direct Access course, having already got my CBT and theory. Mark was a brilliant instructor and I felt very well prepared for both modules of the practical test. The bike was well kept and ran perfectly throughout the sessions. There was plenty of time to practice the manoeuvres for module 1 in a relaxed setting with 1 to 1 tuition. I was also able to redo any parts that I felt unsure of on the morning of the test. There was also plenty of time on the road to get ready before module 2 with specific and practical advice to improve my riding. Would highly recommend!

Did my cbt today. Instucter was called Susi she was very good very polite. Would recommend TOMMYBEE to everyone best moterbike school about FACTS.. very good group of people 👍 see yous in 2years when my cbt runs out lol 👍

I had my CBT training with Susi yesterday and all I can say that I enjoyed the day and all the encouragement she was giving me while we was out on the pad, as well as on the road eased my nerves and made the day all that more enjoyable.
Thanks again Susi and I’ll see you this time again in 2 years time 😁

I done two cbt with them and the full direct access course. Now buzzing like a happy Bee . Couldn't recommend them enough 5 star. Experience and knowledge and the ability to teach is extremely high .si if your starting out here is your best call . Exceptional ! 🐝

Great set of lads. My son just did his cbt with them and they were brilliant and very patient.
After being treated very badly by Bumpy, his confidence was very low but the instructors from Tommy Bee put him instantly at ease and got him through it...
Would highly recommend this company.

Not all training schools are equal. In my opinion this is one of the best. CBT to DAS give them a call. Can't see you being disappointed.

Very patient and understanding team of guys. Cannot fault any of them. Right from Jenny, who facilitates your sessions to payment, to Mark who is as patient as Buddha himself..all of them are great.
It was almost sad to finish.. bit thanks guys for a good few weeks! Would recommend strongly if you're thinking of getting a motorbike license..

If you just renewing your cbt then it probably will be ok for you but if you are new starter just VOID this place. It was so bad experience and so stresful that we decided to stop our training. Overall -very bad experience.

Having changed from another school due to being let down, I contacted Tommy Bee on a Sunday. I was surprised with the quick response and very helpful staff who called me back and worked around my schedule for both training and my test. I trained for my Mod 2 only and took my test for it through Tommy Bee, passing first time. Mark, the owner is fantastic and a top guy to work with. You are praised for your good riding and will be helped with anything you are struggling with. On my first lesson I used a bike with a heavy clutch which gave me wrist problems and on my next lesson I was welcomed with a different bike that had a soft clutch. I was very impressed that Mark had taken this into consideration and it was a nice touch. I wish I had done my Mod 1 and CBT here also. I would highly recommend Tommy Bee.
