ORMT Motorcycle Training - Redditch- DAS

Formally Open Road Motorcycle Training, we are now under new management.

All instructors are highly professional and dedicated to supporting each and every rider through training. They are all driving vehicle standards agency approved and pride them selves of maintaining the highest standard of service which is why they have such a high completion rate.

Open Road Motorcycle Training also known as ORMT provide both Compulsory Basic Training to new riders and those returning after two years and full licence training for those looking to obtain an unrestricted licence. You'll find bike hire is included in these courses so the'll be no extra cost to use a bike on site. The instructor has also arranged to have motorcycle gloves and jacket on site for rider to use during their training if you are unable to arrange your own before hand. Each rider will however need their own motorcycle helmet, boots and thick jeans with no rips in order to attend training courses with ORMT.

The training site is easily accessible by public transport, the nearest train station is Longbridge, which is roughly a 35-40 minute walk from the station to ORMT. The walk is relatively simple as you exit the station walk down Longbridge Lane, you'll then meet the main road which is called Bristol Road take a left turn and stick to this road before exiting on the right down Callowbrook Lane and right again down Brookend Drive where you'll find ORMT at the end. The majority of the walk is down the main road with plenty of shops and cafe's is you need to grab yourself a coffee or snacks for the training course enroute.

The local riding route is diverse allowing each rider to experience urban, suburban and quieter country roads when training with ORMT which comes in great use when you complete to training and you're riding independently.
