I was worried as I am starting later in life and I struggle understanding instructions sometimes due to nerves. Ray has a really calming effect on me and explains calmly. If I am not sure he lets either someone go first or he shows me to follow him. This really helps me get it in better. Also I was struggling with the clutch throttle to not stall the bike or not too rev too much. Ray has shown me that it is about finding the point of sweet spot and also to stay calm. If I stall just start it again. But practise and once you find it. This is something you might come across when you buy a new bike or do test rides. So this is great to hear during lessons ( I think). He makes me feel more confident and calms me in a natural way. I for instance cannot stand someone who is telling me no! Again! He just asks relevant questions and with those questions he shows you how to find it yourself. He is a great guide when going on the road, which can be scary. I managed to stall my bike but he was there behind me and made sure I was safe and spoke me through what to do and we were able to continue the ride and I was able to enjoy the right after the first tense moments thanks to Ray! I really cannot recommend Ray enough! I am neurodiverse and he really helps me. I also had other drivers join us as you do with schools and he managed all really great. It is an awesome community under motorbikers and Ray is a great example of this. A great teacher/ instructor and a great first contact for getting into motorbike riding. Whether it is on a CBT to ride a 125cc or a full license course for the bigger ccs. Both the practical part as well as the instructions on good practise and asking theory questions or showing what to expect for your tests, he helps you from start to finish. For anyone wanting to learn to ride ask for Ray! He will get you to pass ( safely)

Ray is an amazing instructor. He put me at ease explaining everything calmly and clearly. His teaching methods are thorough and methodical. No cutting corners. I cannot recommend Ray and Phoenix enough. Brilliant.
