Shires Motorcycle Training Long Eaton has been a motorcycle training provider with over 20 years experience! The entire team pride themselves on being professional and personable. The instructors are all DVSA approved and offer CBT training courses as well as fully licence motorcycle courses (DAS) with Advanced rider training available if needed.

This school is known for its high standard of training and are well respected within the industry and the local riding community in Long Eaton. Their training site offers modern facilities including an indoor classroom where students will complete their theory work.

The off-road training area is spacious and well equipped with a fleet of modern Yamaha and Suzuki motorcycles and scooters for CBT training courses as well as DAS Full Licence training. The school provides full motorcycle gear hire as standard, this means a motorcycle helmet, gloves and jacket can be provided if needed however we always suggest bringing your own. ,They also have a showroom on site should you need to purchase any last minute equipment, if this is the case please ensure you arrive with plenty of time to buy.

CBT training is available 7 days a week all thanks to their dedicated team of instructors. Car parking is available at the site for those looking to drive to the site. Those travelling by public transport you'll find Shires MT easy to find as it's within a 5 minute walk of Long Eaton train station.

The local roads are perfect for new riders, with the quiet roads towards the River Trent providing an excellent variety of roads with a great view! The training school is only a few miles away from Castle Donington and the Donington Park Circuit, this school is perfect for anyone looking to begin their motorcycle career next to the home of British Motorsport.
