1 Stop Motorcycle Instruction are a long established CBT and full motorcycle licence training ground in Ilford, East London. The training site have fantastic facilities in East London offering one of the largest approved CBT training sites in the area.
1 Stop Motorcycle training have a large team of professional instructors that not only deliver CBT training and full motorcycle DAS training but much more!
The training site is easy to find and based in Barkingside which is only 3.6 miles from the centre of Ilford itself. Their site is well connected with public transport links. The training ground is within walking distance of Fairlop tube station, on the central line. When you exit the station head left along the Forest Road and you will find the training site on the left hand side with Powerleague Fairlop 50 meters further.
The training site also provides free parking to their riders and the entrance to the car park can be found on Forest Road.
This training ground is ideal for new and experienced riders in the East London area, taking their CBT training or DAS full licence training. There are plenty of amenities nearby should you need to grab lunch during your training day, but we recommend bringing food and drink with you on the day to ensure you'e fully fuelled for a day of learning and training.
1 Stop Instruction are proud to call themselves true Roadcraft professionals, as they provide motorbike training, driving lessons and LGV and PCV training .They are also open for CBT motorcycle training 7 days a week offering available training slots to suit any schedule.
You will need to bring your own kit to train in - a thick jacket, sturdy trousers and motorcycle gloves. 1 Stop will provide you with a helmet and a motorcycle/scooter to learn on.

In March 2004 I decided to learn how to ride a motorbike. I had never driven a motorbike before so I looked around on line to find a school that had the best reviews and I came across 1Stop. I read all the information on their website which gave me a clear understanding of what I needed to do. I called them up and booked a CBT with them which I took in March. The instructor was very knowledgeable and got my confidence up. He was a really nice guy. I passed my CBT that day and was ready for the next steps. I booked my theory and passed first time. Then I made terrible mistake. I called another motorbike school to do my clutch conversion. Only because it was nearer and slightly cheaper. My confidence shattered. The driving school was bad. The teaching was bad and the instructor spent more time smoking and texting. He even asked me why I came to this crap instead of going back to 1Stop. I wasted my money and sat in a car park going to give it all up. Then I thought I would call 1stop and explain what happened. Pepsi answered and we spoke about half an hour on the phone and he convinced me to come back to 1stop and I did. I did another clutch conversion and within 20 mins I was now practicing on a 600 unlike the other school that kept us on 125. I had a few 1 to 1 sessions to build up my confidence and the learning was brilliant. I couldn't fault any of the instructors I had. All professional, knowledgeable, fun and to the point. I had a few set backs and frustrating rides but they were really patient with me. I passed my mod 1 first time and just passed my mod 2 last week. Very glad Pepsi answered the phone that day. Thank you to all the instructors. If you are reading this and thinking about doing your licence then don't waste your time and money like I did. Give 1stop a call. Happy riding, and stay safe

What a great team of people. I work away a great deal and wanted to pass direct access (DAS) motorcycle. The team at 1 Stop fitted my CBT, MOD 1 and MOD 2 training into my leave periods and worked with me 1 to 1 and in group sessions to ensure that I had the required knowledge and techniques to successfully pass my tests. They have a wide understanding of the road test circuits that you might be tested on for MOD 2 and are able to train you in depth to deal with the off road manoeuvring skills required for Mod 1. Of course you will need to have the mentality to take instruction and listen and remember, if you can do these things then take advantage of this team and get your licence at any level. Thoroughly recommended.

Did my DAS with these guys and in total had 4 instructors at different points of the course and all were absolutely great. Not just that the head office from the first call seemed like they cared and tried to get me into the best schedule possible. I couldn’t recommend these guys more. They are training you to be a great rider and pass your test first time, they don’t just want to book you on for extra lessons like other schools. I would like to share my recent experience of taking the Computer-Based Test (CBT) at an examination center and invite you to consider this center for your own exams.
On Sunday, June 25, 2023, I took my CBT test at this center and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the experience. Firstly, the instructor who supervised the test was a very friendly and extremely patient person. He took the time to clearly explain the instructions and requirements of the test, which greatly contributed to my understanding and confidence before starting.
What really impressed me was how the instructor was able to provide clear and detailed explanations during the test itself. Whenever I had a question or doubt, he was there to help and guide me in the right direction. His patience and professionalism created an atmosphere that was conducive to concentration and optimal performance during the test.

Passed Mod 1 in first attempt and Mod 2 in third attempt.
I think this is one of the best motorbike learning schools in the area. Bikes are well maintained and some are new. Initially I found the language used bit rough, but given the very limited time of the course we have to get along with what is available than complaining.
Mod 1: Received good training from Pete. He is strict and to the point. I remember his instructions loud and clear "If you want to pass that test then you gotta listen mate". This really true, examiner won't give you any excuse, so we have to STICK to the instruction and do EXACTLY what is needed. 1 and half day for Mod 1 are less but instructions are good and exact, practise is sufficient if you know riding the bike already.
Mod 2:
Pepsi is the master instructor, you can't argue about anything as he is almost always right. Simply follow the instructions, listen to the minutest comment instructor has made and imbibe the instruction.
Ann gave valuable advice and instructions that I did not get anywhere else, especially (you can't change lanes on roundabouts unless you are taking an exit).
In the three Mod 2 attempts, got insight into what was missing in me and I think I learned important lessons on what not to do(never rush, don't make instant/rash decisions, if not sure about any manoeuvre Don't do it).
Look up, Look ahead and Keep your distance :).

Fantastic experience all round!
I spent time with both Martin & Tony for my Mod 1 (both great, passed first time!) and then Anne for my Mod 2 (again, great – passed first time!).
Everyone from the office was extremely helpful and nice too, always keeping me in the loop with dates that cropped up a bit earlier for my Mod 2.
Would highly recommend 1 Stop for anyone looking to get into biking – couldn't fault the experience at all.

They claim you can have your license in three days and that is what it took me.
The instructors where two different gentlemen, one per test. Very skillful.
Good bikes, in my case Suzuki Gladius.
They even lend a helmet (very clean) and had all the equipment you may need.
Overall a very good experience, they made things easy to understand and gave very useful advices.
Lucky me I don't have to do it again but, if I had, I would do it with them.

Sometimes He was shouting at us but not because he was annoyed or anything but he really wanted us to understand the importance of being safe on the road and it was understandable. I passed both my MOD 1 & 2 exams first time. This was not down to any latent ability on my part but simply down to the instructors at 1 Stop. Pepsi and Tony gave me good advice and really focussed on the skills I needed to not only pass the tests but to also make me a safe and confident rider. Their methods are firm and they’ll let you know in no uncertain terms when you make a mistake but they offer equal praise when you are riding well. I would genuinely recommend them to anyone looking to make the leap into the world of motorbikes.

The training was hard but brilliant, had a number of different trainers and all were patient and offered great advice for a new rider. I'd recommend 1 stop to anyone. Had a CBT done from 1 Stop Instruction recently and it was an amazing experience. The instructors name was Mike and he was thoroughly professional! He made sure that we were comfortable on our bikes and knew the road rules before going out. Peter and Pepsi are both good instructorcs, Peter is a bit strict but if you listen to what he says and follow his instructions the chance you pass your tests are good.

The instruction at this school is second to none. Brian my instructor was perfect in every aspect in taking my CBT; I kept making silly mistakes on my ride such as leaving the indicator on but after the banter and nagging Brian reminded me why it's crucial to turn a signal off after a corner or bend. Brian has excellent people skills, is patient and an instructor who goes above and beyond to deliver the best tuition for people who have sat on a bike for the first time and those who have been riding as novices. Will be returning for my full test without a doubt.

Great people. All of them are bikers and can relate loads of experience back to you. I took the 3 day course and they get you on a big bike straight ahead, no 125 nonsense. If you want they have private sessions if you are scared of bigger bikes and would like to try it out first.
In overall I'm satisfied with my experience and I passed 1st time, so my suggestion: listen to what the instructor says and be thankful if they nag you about it. This will help you on tests.
