My partner and I had our CBT on Sunday. Everyone was friendly, the instructor was helpful and knowledgeable and we had a good laugh! He made us fell confident in our riding skills. Would highly recommend.

My son aged 16 had his CBT test here today. Firstly these guys went out of their way for him from the highway code part, (my son panicked as he is terrified of tests he had practiced and he passed no problem without pressure as they allowed him to go in a couple of days before to take the pressure off) he went along this morning he was immediately put at ease as there is plenty of banter and laughs. My son Is a type 1 diabetic and thankfully one of the trainers has personal experience with this along with training so I was immediately as a mum completely at ease and walked away feeling he was in safe hands. He was very well looked after and the giant smile when I came back just said it all. They took their time with him and took him out on the road several times to ensure he was definitely ready to be on the road. My son was happy and confident and over the moon that he passed. I cannot recommend this place more whatever your age, my experience was taking along a very shy 16 year old who was brought right out of his shell. They did an amazing job myself and my husband will be returning for our bike licences. The trainers are out outstanding, caring, and very on the ball, lots of patience I watched them with other people that struggled a bit and they went round and round on foot running along side the bikes helping their confidence grow it was amazing to watch. Thank you so much to all that looked after and helped my son understand he is very capable. His taken to it like a duck to water and once home after a few hours rest, he spent a good 4 hours out and about while we followed in the car and he was amazing clearly I have a natural born rider and he can't wait to be old enough for his bike licence he will definitely be coming back here. Both trainers today 20 out of 10 thank you guys and thank you to the lovely Nikki who was extreamly accommodating when booking and taking the highway code.

Make sure you read the information sent to you, come prepared i.e right clothing, paper work, have a good understanding of the highway code and you will have an amazing time with a pass at the end. Completed my CBT today with Nad instructing and I have absolutely no complaints. Being a complete beginner, they were informative, friendly and encouraging for the entire time about each aspect, on and off the bike. Constructive feedback throughout allowed me to feel comfortable and to improve over the time we spent and I couldn’t recommend them more. Nad was also great for the on-road portion and didn’t feel like I didn’t belong out there with him at any point.

Very rude instructor, did not say hello when went there, my English is not that great as I am from India. It was very cold freezing temperature I was given a test paper to complete with no instructions and I only got one wrong answer and he failed me and again without any information just said you ho home. And gave me a phone number and told me if you have questions call on this number. I would not recommend this training centre to anyone not because I failed but the way they treat you and its really make you very funcomfortable 😕

My recent experience with Heathrow Motorcycle Training was fantastic I would like to pass on my thoughts. Having never riden a motorcycle before, my training took me from virgin CBT rider through to DAS, In just over a year. I cannot recommend them high enough. From the first phone call to HMT with Niki I was impressed with her attention to detail and brilliant customer service. Although the CBT took me a couple of attempts, the instructors Identified I needed a bit more support and training to get me to the correct standard to allow safe transfer on to the road. Saftey first always. I put my trust in HMT and they came up trumps.The teaching from all the instructors has a good balance of time on the bike practicing and rest periods for you to take it all in. The skills needed to pass the Mod 1 and 2 are gradually drilled in to you. The atmosphere is lighthearted but working students full on to the smallest detail. Mark took on the personal challenge of getting in to my brain to ensure I could learn in the most efficient way. His years of experience undoubtedly showed through. He Identified and coached me with various techniques to enable me to learn and retain my new bikings skills. I suffered terribly with nerves and lack of confidence, he coached me in such a way that put me at ease and built my confidence in a short period of time. Although I found it a challenging learning period at no point felt I couldn't achieve the goal . Because Mark teaching was spot on. Great value for money. These guys know how to train, don't go anywhere else. If they can get me through MOD 1 and 2 on first attempt ! See what they can do for you.

Horrible, please AVOID. I went for the cheapest CBT locally (here) and the instructor doesn't give any training at all despite saying I have no experience. He expects you to know everything already and doesn't tell you the VERY IMPORTANT basics such as going and stopping, how to turn, throttle and brake management, etc. He blames any wrongdoings on yourself and not his training. To top it off their mopeds are terrible and half working. And no refund or reimbursement was given, these guys are a scam. Please AVOID. DON'T BE AFRAID TO SPEND THE £20 OR SO EXTRA FOR A MUCH BETTER EXPERIENCE ELSEWHERE.

I had my CBT assessment here today after putting it off for about 5 years. the instructors Mark and David were fantastic, really welcoming and knowledgeable. I did feel a bit intimidated being the only woman in the group but they were encouraging and patient. Good selection of manual and automatic bikes to be assessed on. Excellent talk on bike safety/maintenance before hand, you could tell that they care about getting safe riders on the road and not rushing you through for the money. Lots of exercises and time to practice before you go out on the main road for your ride. I did run out of petrol in the middle of the assessment so had to push the bike to the nearest petrol station which though not ideal turned out to be good practice for real life and helped you get a feel of the bike more. I would 100% recommend Heathrow motorcycle training to anyone wanting to do a CBT on a manual or automatic. The introductory email advises you to wear sturdy shoes. Please take that advise. I turned up in trainers which I regretted when trying to manovure the bike onto its feet. Thanks again guys. I'll be back.

Through no fault of the schools it took a bit longer than I had hoped to pass my CBT and subsequent DAS course. The various lockdowns caused innumerable delays to lessons and tests but Nikki did a great job and spent a lot of energy in rebooking everything when these delays occurred. Mark was a great instructor - patient, knowledgable and very helpful in getting me to the stage where I successfully passed my DAS course. I would happily recommend the school to anyone looking to complete either a CBT or DAS course.

Absolutely amazing! My CBT was cancelled at another location 2 hours before it was due and my certificate was due to expire the following day. I called up HMT to query if they could help me last minute and squeeze me in, I couldn't believe my luck when they said yes. I arrived at this location, was offered a hot beverage upon arrival and I had some lovely conversations with the team! The hospitality I received was outstanding and although this is not my local training centre, I would be extremely happy to travel the distance in the future. Great place to polish your riding skills. The instructors are friendly yet blunt. They will be completely honest and tell you exactly how mich training you need. I passed my full A unrestricted test with them in the first go. Even through the pandemic they were able to book in my practical test before my CBT expired. Thank you! I heard they have started a wall of fame with the Signed L plates from the students that have passed 💯. Be sure to go and leave your mark there.

I had an excellent experience at this Training Centre. I’m a new rider and I decided to learn on a manual motorbike. The instructor Mark let me know from the start that it would be very difficult to pass first time on a manual bike. He was right I was very shaky and even fell off. However, he assured me with enough practise I’d be fine. He told me to come back and I did. I improved immensely as my confidence increased and got used to bike. Mark was an outstanding teacher. I’d highly recommend this place to any beginners who want to learn how to ride motorcycles properly. Thank you !

This posting is done on behalf of my fiancé Natalia who, for some reason, can’t access her Google account. ”I have never ridden a moped and don't have much knowledge I can honestly say that I feel a million times better after being taught by Mark. He is a brilliant teacher, easy going and makes you feel at ease. I was extremely nervous when I arrived in the morning and as there were other experienced riders from other countries Mark was happy to go one-on-one a few days later. After doing this I was feeling much better and then once we had been on the road I received my CBT certificate. I had some trepidation at learning how to ride big bikes but the way Mark and the team handled everything, I couldn't have been happier. The trainers at HMT have unrivalled experience and are able to draw on that experience to provide relevant training. They know what to teach and how to teach it. Everyone was very welcoming and put me at ease. They won't make you do what you cannot do and are very good at identifying areas of need. Basically, its not a place where they do some training and throw you out on the roads - they will only do what is safe. Great experience and have no hesitation in recommending them.

This place has been brilliant! I did my CBT with them in December, then after commuting for 8 months decided to do my mod1 and mod2 for a full A licence. I had a different instructor for each one but all of them were incredibly knowledgeable, experienced and patient. The lady who organised the bookings was very helpful and planned it all out for me. They also charge less than most other places in the country.

An amazing group of instructors. I went from never having ridden a motorcycle to passing my CBT, MOD1 & 2, with approx 16 hrs of training. I must say this is all thanks to the friendly and knowledgeable instructors at HMT. You get to go out with different instructors wherever possible, so get a chance to pick up tips and pointers from a wealth of experience. All the instructors have great interpersonal skills, it was extremely encouraging to hear through my rides where I was doing things well and why they were important to keeping me safe on a bike. Any errors I made were likewise explained to me as they happened with the aim of improving my riding. Having watched the instructors provide CBT training to others it was also great to see them show patience and go well beyond what I expected, giving those who needed it the one on one tuition they needed to get out on the road safely.

The course was very thorough and never at any point did I feel that we wasn’t getting anything but the highest quality of training. Could not have asked for any better instructors. Lessons are taken at your own pace, at no point are you rushed to tick boxes or slowed down, they will fit everything around you and your requirements. Best price anywhere near the area, and not only that but I could not give a fault to the service I and my friend received when we started our DAS course. Mark, Graham, Paul, and Grant have made what could have been an intimidating course of lessons and tests into a fun activity that I was actively looking forward to the next one. From complete novis to confident on the road whithin 3 weeks. If you are within reasonable distance for this school, and want to learn to ride then this should be your only stop. I would highly recommend Heathrow Motorcycle Training to anyone thinking about entering the world of motorcycling. I passed my CBT in March at HMT and since then I have been riding around on a 125cc bike due to the excellent training at HMT. I have now passed my Mod1 and Mod2 ( Category A) tests with the help from the really professional and passionate instructors at HMT, who prepared me for the test within a few hours training by providing constructive feedback on the things that I was good at and not so good at. It has been a pleasant experience to learn to ride a bike safely and confidently at Heathrow Motorcycle Training.

What can I say about HMT! Very friendly and knowledgeable, have been doing training with them over the last couple of days and have just passed my MOD 1 with them, all in all I can't think of anything bad with the guys or the school, would recommend them all day long to anyone looking to do any form of motorcycle training! Be where of using this company !!!! The office administration of this company is very poor my son had Four tests booked by the company itself, the the third test my son couldn't remember the date so he called the office and was told the day over the phone by a lady who was covering for the owner grayham. When he got there it turned out to be the wrong day it was the he day before so he missed that test grayhams justification for that was my son should of written down the day or stored it in his phone, so he wants to charge him money for loss of time . Another test was booked by the company this time when he got to the bike centre he was given the wrong out of date CBT certificate because grayham had not filled out a new one, again grayham blamed my son for this and wants to charge him money for loss of time, it seems he doesn't want to take responsibility for a very shabby run office. He has withheld a CBT certificate which my son has paid for until he pays him £170 which he thinks my son owes him for loss of time but this is more of a loss to my son he's taken time off work travel to and from this bike centre also to the test centre paid for tests that have not materialised and so on. I am now making a formal complaint to the DVSA regarding the unfair treatment by this company In which we are quite within our rights to do so please take care if you use this company.
