Fantastic bunch of people here, did my CBT with them and then came back for my DAS, had Luke as my instructor for both and I can't thank him enough, the progress I made was incredible and I don't think I would have passed without him 👏, really cool geezer as well 😀 Huge Thanks Luke, life goal completed 👌

I completed the DAS with BikeSmart in Aug 2023, from day 1 my instructor Luke was clear with his communication and the training. He put me through my paces and tested my abilities. Once I was up to speed, he increased the difficulty whilst still being supportive and patient. I would thoroughly recommend!

I've just passed my CBT with Adrian as our instructor, and from the begining you could see how experienced he is. In the morning, I turned up shy and quiet as a church mouse, and by the end of the day of training I was confidently flying, almost like a missile, through the twisty roads of Haywards Heath. Am thinking of completing full DAS training with them, as Adrian thoroughly explained requirements to successfully complete the course. Bike smart.

Did my CBT recently here, first time on a bike and very pleased to pass, all made possible by the staff. Instructor Ed was exceptional - patient, happy to help, and good fun. Would definitely return in future if needed.

I came to bike smart to do my CBT on an automatic as a beginner rider and got supported all the way through Recently I went back to do a gears up course to get to grips with a manual bike and I can honestly say the support I got was phenomenal, the instructors are very knowledgeable and professional. Being a female rider is difficult due to the sizes with equipment and bikes but at bike smart they have something for everyone! Will be going back very soon to get my Full license!!! Seriously recommend Bike smart to anyone looking to become a rider!

Great instructors they made me feel very relaxed and confident in both the training and on the road. Any questions they are more than happy to answer and great tips for beginner riders. You should feel safe and confident doing your cbt here. Again awesome instructors, I had a great time. ✌️

I had my CBT training last Thursday me and a lady, I did it on a manual bike and it was one of the best experiences I had since a long time. Neil and Luke were my instructors that day . They’re very professional, friendly and they do everything to teach you the correct way and to make you confident and comfortable. Neil was very patient with me and taught me a lot same as Luke did. 5 stars for this guys. They also have a motorbike garage, take your bike there and they will take care of it. Thank you so much again guys, I will definitely be back for a full license in the near future.

I done my CBT, I had never ridden before. The instructors Ed and Luke were extremely friendly and patient. They were also funny and easy to joke with which is always good for nerves and helped me hugely. When it came to the Independent Driving towards the end of the training, Ed gave me constant feedback on how to improve my riding and gave me constant support when going over difficult situations in the road. I would 100% recommend anyone from any level from complete beginner to do your CBT here as I don’t have a single bad thing to say about my experience, Thank you Ed and Luke!

Outstanding professionalism and patience when teaching. Ed especially created a very comfortable environment which made it easy to learn and complete the course in a day. Would recommend to anyone even if quite far out as it’s worth the journey.

Now. The staff here are great people, they clearly know their stuff, and were all around nice people and we had a great laugh. However the way the session operates just isn't kind towards completely inexperienced riders, I was thrust into a group with 6 other people and really could have dealt with more 1 on 1 time to figure my way around the gears. After paying £150 plus extra for insurance I ended up not being able to proceed that day, when all i needed was a little extra tuition and attention. Shortly after I was screwed out of my insurance by having COVID and the customer service Rep seemed delighted to be taking my money for nothing. Best avoided if you're a nervous or new rider, or just aren't comfortable in groups with strangers.

I highly recommend this company. I trained for my full bike licence with these guys and the training and treatment I recieved from the beginning was perfect. When I stepped in the door I had never rid a geared motorcycle before and now I am a confident rider with a full motorcycle licence. I would like to thank Amanda for training me and Peter for all the help.

Fantastic / friendly staff....Amanda ( CBT instructor ) was very patient and professional. Whilst out on our 2 hour road ride , she made sure that we were ready to safely ride on our own by the end of the day. I drove up from Brighton.... definitely worth the journey. Great instructor ....would definitely recommend them to anybody taking any kind of motorcycle training.

I had a brilliant day doing my CBT course. Ed our instructor was incredibly patient, knowledgeable and helped me relax when my nerves were getting the better of me. Neil the assistant was equally as helpful and very supportive. Very happy that I did my CBT with Bike Smart as I don't think I would have had the same outcome if I'd done the course anywhere else. Couldn't speak highly enough of Ed, Neil and Amanda. Thanks so much guys!

My experience with Ride To has been amazing ! Very knowledgeable and thorough training provided by one of the best CBT teams in the South East ! Our instructors on the day were especially kind and patient during every step of the way - their supportive yet thorough teaching successfully led me to pass the course! Will be back again for my full licence although I live some miles away ! Thank you Ride To , keep up the good work !😁✌️

I went for a manual motorcycle CBT at Bike Smart Haywards Heath today and despite being somewhat pensive and unsure about what the experience might be like I was instantly reassured by the supportive, professional and super-encouraging guidance of Amanda. She spotted my sticking points and could immediately tell what things I was struggling with both mechanically and internally and had great advice to guide me towards immediate improvement that honestly surprised even me! I couldn't have been more pleased with the experience and highly recommend their training day to anyone considering getting this under their belt and pursuing their biking ambitions! Thanks Amanda and the rest of the Bike Smart team, you are awesome and I hope to see you all again! Jon B

Completed my CBT training here a week or so ago. Fantastic team of friendly people who all seem genuinely engaging, friendly and knowledgable about all things with an engine and two wheels! Had a brilliant day on my CBT and would highly reccommend to anyone considering completing a CBT or bike licence to use Bikesmart. Spent most of my day with Luke and Sav, both of whom are informative, well mannered and even added some humour throughout the day. I was fortunate to pass first time, however i had previous experience after completing a CBT with Bikesmart in the past. PLEASE NOTE: not everyone will pass the CBT training on your first attempt, especially if your have not rode a motorcycle before. It is not a course that they will just pass you on for the sake of it. The instructors genuinley want to be sure that you are safe and comptetant on the road and bike to ensure you will not be a danger to yourself or others on the road. Again this is a compliment to their proffessionalism. Anyways, thank you Bikesmart for a fantastic day, and im sure once i get a bit more experienced on my 125 ill be back for some training to get me through my full bike licence.

Untrustworthy, do not keep to their word, unprofessional. Having previously used BikeSmart for a CBT in 2018 it was due for renewal, so I phoned Bike Smart on Friday 27th afternoon and paid a deposit for a CBT for the very next day Saturday 28th, I was told that if for any reason I couldn't make it then the to phone in morning as it was an inpromptu booking. Circumstances changed later that day and I phoned as soon as they opened on the Saturday morning and had a conversation with someone who sympathised with the circumstances and agreed to refund the deposit after they conferred with a colleague who would phone back that day to reimburse the deposit. After not receiving a phone call from anyone I phoned on Wednesday 1st and spoke to another person who was aware of the situation however the person to issue the refund wouldn't be in until the next day and they will phone me. After not receiving a phone call again I phoned them on Saturday 4th and spoke to Peter who then denied the refund that had previously been agreed due to 'terms and conditions' even though Bike Smart had agreed to refund on the Saturday 28th and again on Wednesday 1st, Peter then agreed to speak with the person in charge and his colleagues to confirm the agreement that already been made and said I had to phone them back on Monday 6th. I phoned on Monday and spoke to Peter again who said he had not managed to speak to the owner or his colleagues and then decided not to bother to carry that out and state 'terms and conditions' again. Peter stated that because I did not make note of who I spoke to he wouldn't refund the deposit. I have given up with trying to recover my deposit and would rather use a more reputable company than deal with Bike Smart. I could have put up with their poor communication as the original employee was handling the situation correctly however after dealing with Peter it is clear they have shown they operate with no integrity or truthfulness.

Operate with no integrity or continuity in what they say they are going to do. Would not recommend this company. Had the misfortune of speaking with Peter who certainly let's down this company down.

Did the CBT course here. Gary (instructor) was great. Took the time to help everyone who was on the course differently. As far as I am concerned went above and beyond for each of us. The rest of the team seem enthusiastic and are easy to approach.

Great place to do your CBT and further training! Friendly, patient and welcoming staff. Good customer service all round, since my CBT I have also ordered parts here for my bike and staff were very helpful with questions. I live a fair old ride away in Uckfield but I'd rather go here for servicing, repair and advice than any other place in the area!

I had a lovely CBT day, i was really nervous and anxious about that even i had hold a motorbike license from my country for more than 12 years (i never really ride a motorbike). The guys were really nice and helpful to me and help me to calm down, at the end i was much more confident and i got the certificate! I will be back for a full license course for sure! Tom and Luke thank you very much for this amazing experience, i will reccomend you for everyone!

I had an awful experience with Bike-smart, I had booked to do my CBT test through the government website where they showed me the nearest places from where I live to do my test. When it got to the day of my test I got sent to the wrong place and sent back and forth around my city. I then missed my test due to them proving false information on the government site of the location and they are aware that they are in the wrong but refusing to give me a refund of £50 deposit I had payed in advance, I also had to take time off work so I lost more money... I had contacted them by phone and got treated really bad, rude and ignorant ! don’t book with them, you’ll lose your money!!

Thanks to Gary for easy and understandable training. Really enjoyable and relaxing overall. I passed both Modules on the Friday after two days training first time. Would definitely recommend :)

It has taken me two tries to get my CBT but yesterday's session was successful with Adrian the Instructor and was probably one of the most enjoyable days of my life! After we had completed all the legally required exercises we set off on an idyllic ride through the villages at the base of the South Downs and over Devils Dyke Road back into Hove. Adrian was inspirational and skilled in giving me the confidence and ability to master this, with an injection of humour to lighten the mood. I am absolutely thrilled to get my CBT and have already done 50 miles on my new scooter which I was able to ride away yesterday for the first time. Thoroughly recommended.

Absolutely awesome day - Opportunity to learn from some nice and extremely knowledgeable riders. The trainers have a safety first mentality and a genuine desire to teach. The day was well structured and perfectly organised. I can't wait to continue my training and gain some experience. - thanks Ash.
