Completed the DAS course with Apex, to obtain my full license. The instructors, Dave, Andy and Rich are all excellent and great at not only providing top class tuition, but being supporting and reassuring. Apex not only provide training to support the completion of Mod 1 and Mod 2 examinations, but also provide real world skills and guidance to ensure you’re safe in the road. Before attending Apex I had no prior riding experience (except the CBT) and they were able to coach me from beginner to a Mod 2 pass with 0 faults! Safe, thorough, patient and fun training to obtain my CBT here. Would definitely recommend Apex. Excellent information and admin from Trish and brilliant training from Andy and Dave. Excellent ratio of two students per trainer which means that you don’t have to wait for advice and attention and excellent price. Good training space with quiet roads nearby to practice initially. Just one point to note – the toilet in the skateboard shop doesn’t open till 9:30am so don’t arrive desperate! 😂 Also, bring food and drinks but Trish will tell you all this. On the first day trained by Andy who was excellent. He is experienced and knowledgeable and extremely patient. We started on manual motorbikes but switched to automatic scooters to enable myself and my fellow student (both of us had never written a motorbike before) to cover all the material to be ready for the road ride. I was disappointed to start with but this was totally the right advice from Andy and meant that we could cover everything needed. We both had to return for final sessions on another day as not all the criteria was met but this is offered at a reduced price. The second session (with Dave) was also excellent and I’m pleased to say, I successfully obtained my CBT. This is an excellent place - everyone is treated with respect and patience. I hope I will return to do my DAS with them.
