Completed my Direct Access Course with Excelerate and after 5 days of training. I passed Mod1 and Mod2 on the brilliant Suzuki SV650 provided by Excelerate. I'm very happy with how fast the progression has been and the excellent instruction I've received. The instruction is detail focused and tailored to you as an individual, friendly and fair - You always know what is next, and what you need to focus on. I would highly recommend anyone in the Farnborough, Fleet, Aldershot, Mytchett area go with Exelerate for their motorcycle training.

Initial booking of my CBT through Ride-To website was great it allowed me to see tests closest to my area and at a price I could afford and by using klarna too. The motorcycle that was chosen for me the YS-125 Yamaha was perfect ride height and comfortable. All the instructors are very approachable and professional, they ensure you pick up everything you need to learn with professionalism with a touch of humour to keep your nerves down. Riding a big bike can be daunting but everyone here helps to break down this challenging task into manageable amounts in a structured format. Getting back to riding a motorcycle after a gap of over 15 years seemed like a mountain to cross, especially after having a high speed accident in the past. Joining the DAS program at Excelerate MTC (even though it involved a 40min drive from London) was one of the best decisions I could have taken. One of my good friends who had taken his bike lessons from the same place 5-7 years ago, recommended this place to me. All the instructors at Excelerate are really friendly, but firm when it comes to riding, to ensure you ride safely at all times. The lessons were never about passing the test alone, but the instructors observe your riding skills, and then create a custom plan to address any safety issues with the way you ride. I am grateful to my instructors (Luke and Sofia) for all their help over the last few weeks to make me a safe rider, and for enabling me to clear my Mod 1 and 2 tests. Thank you Diana with all your help sorting the logistics regarding my test dates, and classes. Thank you Adrian, Dan, and Nikos. I highly recommend Excelerate, a family-owned safety-first motorcycle training school.

Great people, great training, efficient, professional, focused on the interests of students. They fitted my mod 2 course and test around my tricky schedule (thank you so much, Diana!) They operate in an area that is a joy to ride around, traffic is ok even in rush hour and there are plenty of roads enjoyable on large bikes, much better than training on London roads. I had experienced three other bike schools over the years for various components of my full A, all of them were good, but Excelerate are in a class of their own.

I had a 5 day direct access course taught by Danny, an extremely knowledgeable, astute and highly experienced rider, fantastic teacher and in addition to that - a good man. He peppered the entire course from start to finish with humour and fun whilst spotting and fixing all the sticking points we were having in a supportive, confidence-inspiring way. The whole experience was far more fun than I could have predicted and I've come away with a full A licence plus some great memories. Always ready to answer any questions or queries we had and never made us feel silly about asking them. I would thoroughly recommend Excelerate to anyone looking for training. Having had a quite poor experience & Mod1 fail with another school in west London, I made my way down to Farnborough to train & take my Mod1 & 2 - and passed both at the first attempt with them. In particular, I was very impressed that they hire the actual Mod1 test site at weekends, and so you get to do plenty of training on the *actual* site you will take your test - which makes a massive difference in confidence. Nikos is a fantastic instructor. Demanding - but in a positive way, and I am certain his instruction has made me a safer rider, and will stay with me for a long time. The whole team are friendly and welcoming, and the communication and admin is all excellent (thank you Diana). A well deserved 5 stars.

A couple months ago I had never touched a motorcycle and felt so uncomfortable of the idea of riding one, 1 CBT later with these guys and I’m out to buy my first motorcycle, you are in the best hands here With the Excelerate team, they guide you and take every step with you to help improve your riding ability and confidence on a motorcycle. Now a couple months later they’ve helped me to pass my A1 licence and honestly I wouldn’t want anyone else to help me achieve it other than these guys. Having hunted through Google for a decent motorcycle training company I came across Excelerate who had over 300 five-star reviews so I rang up and booked myself on a course. I was really happy with my decision as Diana who takes the bookings was really friendly and helpful and Sophia who trained me for the four days before my tests was a consummate professional. I couldn’t have wished for anyone better to have trained me and I passed both my Mod 1 and my Mod 2 on my first attempt thanks to this training. An absolute wealth of knowledge that will teach you not only to pass a test but how to actually ride, this team care about you and everything they do is in your interest. Great introduction to big bikes from Adrian who made me feel safe on the jump up to a proper bike, Sofia with her confidence boosting attitude and Nikos who is the Mr Miyagi of motorbikes. Without a doubt, Excelerate are amazing and well worth your money when looking to learn to ride! Firstly apologies for taking too long to post this review! I was totally side tracked! I did my DAS with Excelerate back in November and had the pleasure of learning from Nikos and Adrian. The training was very thorough and will a lot of emphasis put on learning to ride post test and not just being up to passing standard. I started day one on a 125 and shortly moved on to the bigger bikes. I was a little bit squeaky after dropping my own 125 but after a few hours i was more than happy. I’m still not sure how the team managed to get me round the figure of 8 without losing their minds. I really don’t like cones!! Thank you for the team turning my dream in to a reality. I’ve been out on my Z1000 for a few months now, going from test to winter riding was definitely an experience but I was ready for it after the great training received. Now I’m enjoying the sunshine, I’m sure riding is essential 😂

I completed my CBT today and the whole experience was awesome from start to finish. Being a fairly inexperienced rider I was really impressed with the training style, and my instructor Adrian relayed any faults nicely and in a constructive manner. Amazing training centre. I had not ridden a bike since 2001, and was a bit apprehensive at the idea of starting again. I am now a better rider after finishing my day refresher course at Excelerate, thanks to Adrian's patience and teaching skills. I ended up getting a big bike which I can now ride with more confidence, thanks again guys.

I decided to bite the bullet, after many years of deliberating whether or not to learn to ride. After trawling the internet and trying to decide where best to go AND if I was making the right decision , my son in law suggested I hook up with the fantastic team at Excelerate Motorcycle Training (from his own experiences 10 years ago) and do my CBT right through to the DAS course. I was not disappointed !!! Their professionalism and dedication to every aspect of motorcycling was second to none. The lovely Diana started off by setting up a comprehensive training programme to get me started which she graciously customised around my work shift pattern. Starting with the CBT, then several lessons to get me settled and comfortable to pass both my MODULE-1 followed by my MODULE-2 this morning. I was fortunate to have a few lessons with Nikos, Adrian and Sophia and as others have mentioned made me feel right at home on the bike. They don't just teach you to pass the test but how to be safe and confident on the road. I cannot recommend Exelerate highly enough, even the DVLA examiner on the day complimented them on how thorough their training/pass rates were. Keep up the fantastic work guys. Damian
