5* Passed my Mod2 this week with Barry and I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. The atmosphere in the school is excellent, you feel part of a family and while the training is serious there is humour and good banter throughout which helped me relax and learn from my mistakes. Absolutely amazing team! People with a lot of experience and patience. I was a really brand new fish into motorcycling ( didn’t know where to place my feet even🤣🫣) and after 2h of training with them I was able to change the gears. I had a great experience having a 3-day DAS training in this school. Bikes are well-maintained and easy to ride. For the first 2 days my instructor was Rick (and a bit of Pedro on the training ground), and the last day (a month later) I spent with Pedro. Both are great instructors, and made me feel very comfortable riding with them. I really enjoyed the first 2 days of riding, Rick led our small group through very nice and scenic roads to and from the test center, and I had a great pleasure riding there. But I still think that Rick could be more picky to my mistakes and teach me more within the given time (to make the most of it). I felt like he relied a bit too much on the first impression from my good riding (I have a license from another country). Pedro on the other hand was picky and spotted some of my mistakes even on the playground and gave me very useful advices to practice and fix my semi-effective emergency breaking.

Great experience! Had Ricky as instructor and passed my Mod 1 no problem first try, had previous driving experience tho. The whole place is super professional and very spot on. Even had my own bike fixed by the mechanic on site in 30min. Super recommended this place.

Would 100% recommend to anyone. What a amazing and professional team they have at NLMT. I was a bit nervous at first but that soon changed when I arrived. They made me feel very welcome straight away. Big thumbs up to Ricky who was my instructor (makes a cracking cuppa 👍). Talks you through and explains everything with great detail, doesn't rush you like other training facilities do. So you actually get a chance to learn. Book your test with NLMT you will not be disappointed.

Outstanding performance, really are the best in the business. I was able to become competent and comfortable on a bike in such a short amount of time thanks to the amazing staff. I personally had Ricky for my CBT & A2 motorcycle training and would highly recommend him. His extensive experience easily allowed him to point out my flaws so quickly making sure to correct them along the way ensuring me a guaranteed pass, all while keeping a bubbly and positive attitude which allowed me to relax and enjoy my experience. Gloria at the front desk was able to find me my MOD 2 in such short notice and allowed me to really feel welcome during my visit with them. Debbie was also extremely helpful with finding me affordable yet comfortable motorcycle gear, she has a keen eye for what’s best suited to you. Overall had an amazing couple of days with them and felt like a breeze all while enjoying a brew with them. Big thank you to the amazing team! felt more like a day out then training.

I completed my Mod2 on the 4 June 2021. The entire team at North London Motorcycle Training were fantastic! I hadn't ridden a motorcycle in 22 years and they guided me through the process from CBT, MOD1 and MOD2; all through the scheduling challenges of the two government lockdowns. The instructors were spot on in identifying my areas of improvement and providing suggestions on how to improve my skills. Special thanks to the admin staff in finding available testing slots and the trainers, all of them, in helping me develop my 360° situational awareness whilst making motorcycling exhilarating. Every trip out was a treat. Keep up the good work.

I’ve used their service first time in 2014 for CBT, and found them the best trainer in the town. They’re professional and helpful, when i visited again for my CBT renewal, on my request, they arranged me a 1-1 instructor to take my test quickly as i had to pick up my kid from the school. The training level is of high standard. l’ll definitely consider them, if i plan for full licence.

I had my training session in early October 2020 and I can highly recommend NLMT! It was pouring with rain all day and instructor Pedro was so patient and good-humoured that I barely noticed. I had zero experience driving a moped, and everything was explained very clearly. I never felt like I was being pushed to go further or faster than I could manage, and put my passing the CBT entirely down to the fabulous training. Thank you very much, Pedro and the team!

Steve is an absolute legend and Pedro is also great at instructing. From not knowing anything to be being Road worthy within in 4 to 5 days is what this place can do. Kate in the attached shop provided all the kit I will need. Haven't completed my tests yet but am sure with the guidance of Steve I will have no problems. I will also be buying the v strom 650 from their show room at a great price so I haven't needed to go anywhere for what I've needed. Cheers guys.

To Mr.Derek when I arrived at the office showed me the clothing & locker to leave your personal belongings very helpful and making sure you have everything what you need.Thank you so much. To the cheerful Paulo when you feel nervous is absolutely gone when he started the very first training he made sure you are comfortable and even he went to extra mile to go google translate some of the learner that cannot really understand English explaining the rules and safety clothing and about the motorbikes before riding it.Thank you so much. The reception and all of the staff very friendly and professional. Thank you to the stuff especially to Andy. I've never drove a bike before and learnt to drive an automatic scooter in a couple of hours for £130 on a rainy Saturday. We took our own gloves and helmet. Together with my husband we both passed the CBT. Best day ever!

I have been yesterday to get my CBT, all staff was super friendly and understanding/patient since i am not the best. Got there at 8:30AM it was all done by 3:30PM. Very nice shop as well, and if you do your CBT there or full motorcycle licence for every purchase you get 10% off any product. Just wanted to share a quick note. Its now been 5 or so years since I passed my test with the lovely motorcycle training team. They taught me well, i have had no accidents no problems and lots of moments of pure joy on various bikes. This is a fantastic place to pass your test with good quality instructors. I have done all of my motorbike training here starting from CBT to unrestricted category A licence. They provided me with thorough training and friendly advice. They really pay attention to detail when training and ensure that it reflects in your riding. I was taught by Ricky and Derek, they are both great instructors. There really wasn't anything negative I could pick on, you can't go wrong with NLMT.

Done the 2 Day DAS course. I was very nervous about failing but the training was absolutely amazing. Easy to talk to, nice as hell and can't point even a single issue to improve. Anyone i know needs their license you better believe i'm sending them here.

Got my motorcycle license after 5 days of training here. The teachers are friendly, helpful and patient.0 The bikes are all Suzuki for the A license, and mixed brands for CBT. I wouldn't comment about the CBT bikes as they are used everyday by newbies so the quality can't be expected too much. The 600cc bikes are all V twin so lots of torque low end and easy to ride for nervous beginners who wouldn't want to twist the acceleration too much. However, make sure you get one of the newest bikes for your mod 2 test as they are less used, have lighter clutch and have anti-stall function. You're normally assigned one anyway but just make sure to ask. Classes and exams are usually fully booked during summer months. I had to wait 1 month after passing my mod 1 test to be able to take mod 2. Probably booking them all in advance if you're confident will save some waiting time.

Terrific place, great bikes, great instructors, friendly helpful staff. I went from no experience at all to passing both mod1 and mod2 first time in a week of training. Christine made the CBT part smooth and easy, and Leo was fantastic for my DAS course, always calm and professional no matter how badly we rode. I initially thought it was expensive but it's typical for London and given the ~7 hours of 1:2 instruction per day it's actually pretty good value for money. Even better, they even arranged for me to borrow a 125cc bike for free for a day just to get some more riding experience in which made all the difference. Totally recommended.
