I completed my mod 1 and mod 2 training with S&K motorcycle training, and passed both first time!
Simon and Paula are both fantastic instructors! They are very knowledgeable, very patient and are always giving you good advice, tips and tricks to make things easier. S&K have a great selection of very good quality bikes to choose from (you can choose your own), which are well maintained and ride lovely. All in all. The experience was fantastic and I would definitely recommend giving them a call for your motorcycle training needs!

This mother and daughter duo are so grateful for your patience, your provision of the right kit (thanks for finding us "fat lass" jackets that fitted!), your understanding and careful explanations when I found things hard, and above all the constant encouragement. It was a long, very hot day but you kept our motivation high.
We were both SO CHUFFED to get our CBT certificates and are grateful to Si and Dave for getting us to level of competence required.

After looking at a few schools S & K ticked all my boxes and put me at ease with what I wanted.
Providing me with excellent tuition from CBT to DAS I had the pleasure of meeting riding and advice from most if not all of the instructors from their team.

Absolute pleasure working with this place. Did my CBT, module 1 and module 2 within 6 weeks. Passed first time and enjoyed every second of it. Instructors are super nice and have loads of helpful conversations with you about riding and how to be better. I have never touched a bike in my life and flew through everything first time. Very flexible with your availability and now I’ve passed I do miss doing my lessons! Thanks for everything

Outstanding Experience – Highly Recommended!
I recently completed my full motorcycle training with S&K Motorcycle Training, starting with my CBT, followed by Mod 1 training and test, then Mod 2 training and test. I passed both Mod 1 and Mod 2 on my first attempt, and I couldn’t have done it without the fantastic team at S&K!
From start to finish, the experience was second to none. The instructors are incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and supportive, making sure you feel confident and fully prepared at every stage. The office staff are also excellent—friendly, professional, and always happy to help.
If you’re looking for top-quality motorcycle training, I can’t recommend S&K highly enough. A brilliant team that truly cares about their students’ success!

Brilliant riding academy! They helped me from CBT stage all the way to completing my Mod 1 and Mod 2.
Mark was really helpful throughout the training process, he really is an asset to the company.
If you use S&K I would advise you to only pay through card or bank transfer. I paid cash for most of my training and it ended up costing me an extra £320 as there was miscommunication between staff and the lady that I dealt with left the business.
Thankfully I passed everything first go and just couldn’t be bothered with getting passed around anymore.
But please have everything that you do written down somewhere and get receipts for every payment you make.

I rang S&K with very short notice to get myself booked in to upgrade from my A2 license to full unrestricted. Kellie and Tina were great at getting me booked in and liaising back and forth to make sure the dates available were all suitable for me.
Once all booked in, all the instructors were fantastic. All feedback for my mod 1, and mod 2 lessons was constructive and clear. All the instructors had a relaxed but professional approach towards the lessons which helps massively.
Two weeks start to finish and now i'm out enjoying my Triumph Tiger on the road. Highly recommend S&K 👍🏼

Done my CBT with S&K motorcycle training at Royston/ Barnsley and what a blast it was. Had instructor Don and he definetly know how not to be boring in class room and will make everybody laugh but in same very professional and knows how to make information to stick around in your head especially about safetyand controls. Next stop to book in will be MOD1 and MOD2.
Just finished my DAS course with S&K motorcycle training school and what a blast it was. Big thanks to everyone who was patient with me and for teaching me how to ride safely bike. With all the guidance I manage to pass all my tests with first time. See you on roads and ride safe 🏍🏍🏍

Amazing people, did everything they said they would, was very understanding and patient and i was able to complete my DAS efficiently with their compromise, i wish nothing but the best for everyone involved with my course. Wouldn’t recommend anyone else if you want to ride a big bike or small, from the get go they teach you everything you need to know. To have you on the road and riding efficiently and safely.
