The training venue location (Addington) was ideal for me, easy to get to and plenty of free parking. The course (CBT) was very comprehensive and made very enjoyable by our excellent instructor (Ken) The only minor issue was the very basic welfare facilities on site. To sum up my day, great course and enjoyable !

Excellent CBT Motorbike Training! Renewing my CBT Refresher I had an incredibly enjoyable experience with Marc as my CBT Motorcycle instructor. He ensured that all tasks were performed safely and accurately, all while displaying a wonderful set of traits and a Awsome personality with good humour that put all the students at ease . I'd like to express my heartfelt gratitude to Marc for his great training and tips and sharing of his real world experience with motorcycles and Marc's assistance in obtaining my CBT Refresher certificate once more. Really good experience there. Was part of a group of 3 being led by an instructor named Marc. I had never touched bike before the course and struggled a fair bit getting the flow of juggling the clutch, rear brake and the revs when turning. Marc was incredibly patient and really helpful. At no point did I feel like he was losing his temper with me. He got me through the CBT and I very much doubt I would have managed it with anyone else.

I recommended this motorcycle training school for my partner, after i past with them years ago and it was disappointing to see how much they have changed. I see one guy was allowed to do the cbt without his provisional licence and i also saw two of the people were allowed to smoke when ever they felt like it and as well as causing distraction to the class continuously. At one point one of the guys started up his scooter when the trainer was still talking about what was the next steps were, which then affected my partner massively as she missed what the steps were and didn't feel confident to say she didn't hear properly. I saw a lot of time wasting from one of the guys also always leaving his helmet and gloves here there and everywhere when this time could have been used for 5 mins more pad work. In the end, my partner was told that she needed to do the continuation cbt. She is very devastated and puts this down to the distractions of the day as well as one of the guys constantly making snide and rude remarks to her during the day which knocked her confidence. She then got an email saying £110 for this continuous cbt yet previously was told £90. I will not be sending her back to the same centre, maybe another site. It is a shame as she can ride but needs help with the manoeuvres etc in order to pass appropriately and also do her DAS.

As a complete ‘newbie’ and having never ridden a motorcycle before, by the end of completing my CBT course(Addington)I felt confident and safe. Our mentors for the day were Jose and Charlie, who immediately made the group feel welcome and came across extremely professional, without being condescending. Facilities were excellent and all equipment that was provided was clean and plenty of sizes to try. I learnt to ride a motorcycle here a few years ago and had a horrific experience. One instructor I had spent the entire day yelling at me. When I tried to broach the subject with the manager he cut me off and told me all his instructors were fantastic. I passed after failing twice but the experience has put me off riding for life.

Excellent experience here completing a CBT. Mark was the instructor on the day, any and all questions answered and thorough explanations where they were needed. The only thing I would say is to book with them directly. I booked through a third party who somehow messed up my phone number. This led to not receiving a message to inform me that training had been pushed back to 10:30 when I'd be told to turn up for 08:00. But I rang the office, Lisa answered, all figured out and problem solved with no fuss!

I concur to what others have said. I seen with my own eyes how those who are non-whites are treated. They will intentially fail you whilst they pass those who are white. I have reported them to the CBT Complaints team.

If you are white they will pass you if you are not they will give you a very hard time. They are a bunch of charlatans. They took my money upfront. All the white learners they treat with kid gloves and others they since they already taken money they don't care. They are disgusting.

This was my first time on any vehicle and found it quite a challenge to say the the least. However the instructors were brilliant. They stuck with me and made sure that I understood what they were teaching. The bikes appeared to be brand new and were a pleasure to ride. I didn’t pass this time (no fault of the instructors) but I will go for the continuation coarse. I could not reccomend Phoenix more and will come back for all my progression courses! A massive thank you to peter and Stuart, you do an amazing job!

Excellent training for a CBT Marc and wynn were the 2 Instructors. Treated everyone fairly and respectfully. Both took the time on a cold January morning to make sure all 6 students were catered for effectively. There was some clear differences in level of student ability but the instructors helped those that needed through. 1 fault that almost lost a star.... No coffee no milk and no loo roll to help stop my nose running as it was so cold 😂 Will return to complete my full license as soon a possible. Thanks guys

Second rate 'instructors', who look down on beginners. Especially if you are non-white. Rude, unhelpful who take pleasure in bullying others when they banked their money. Seen it with my own eyes - Wynne. ''Do as I say or you're out and 'forget about any refunds''. They're blind to the fact that it's the learners who pay their wage not the other way round. Don't waste your money and time with these muppets.

I done my CBT on a very cold December day. I was extremely excited and I was not disappointed. Trainer was extremely experienced. The bikes were all mostly new. I was recommended to go to different CBT centre but came here purely down to the price and was not disappointed. In a few months I will be looking to do my full Bike licence and I will 100% consider the phoenix school. I wanted to write a review because its always nice for people who are just looking for as decent place to do their CBT

I was very happy with the trainers but l was not happy at all with the management. They don't understand about equal opportunities so they let me down on that l had to go second time and £80 more which was not supposed to. They need push the service because they weren't very good with me...

I recently completed an intensive course (CBT, Mod1 and Mod2) with the Phoenix team. I can honestly say they are the most helpful, patient and supportive group of instructors. Each day was an absolute please, not only did I enjoy myself, but I learnt a wealth of knowledge and gained the confidence I needed to sail through the different tests. Nothing was ever a problem, they really do put you first (including allocating lowered bikes for people like me, that aren't blessed with proper sized legs). I will definitely recommend these guys to all of my friends and family.
