It couldn’t be easier to book your CBT training with RideTo. Simply enter your postcode in the search bar to find the nearest schools to you. Select the type of training you and the date you wish to train. If you select an instant book school (shown by the small lightning bolt icon) then your booking has been instantly accepted for that date. You may have to wait for the school to confirm your slot if booking with a non-instant book school.
The two most important documents you need to ensure you have with you on the day are your provisional licence and your national insurance number. These are essential as it enables the instructors to carry out vital licence checks required by the DVSA prior to your training.
If you need glasses or contact lenses then you should ensure you have these with you as one of the first elements of your CBT is an eyesight test. If you fail this eyesight test then you will be unable to proceed with your training.
Check your confirmation email to find out exactly what you should wear on the day but if in doubt, double-check through our guide here.
This depends on your age, see full licences and laws here. You will be limited to either a 50cc or a 125cc machine. The great thing is these smaller capacity bikes are very affordable to run and are fantastic for getting around the city. A lot of the major manufacturers have recently turned their eye to this market so there are plenty of options out there coving a range of styles and budgets.
