How Much Does a CBT Cost in Halifax?
A CBT is a training course that lasts just one day and the price of your training package includes the use of a hire bike for the duration of the course and in some cases, certain gear items to wear during the day too.
The price also includes the full day of teaching from a qualified instructor and the certificate you will receive at the end of the day to prove you have completed the training (that’s as long as you have shown you are able to ride a scooter or motorbike with control and safely on the roads).
CBT costs within a 20 mile radius of Halifax range from £140 to £180. The difference in cost is due to the location of the school, the condition of gear/brand bikes and the facilities offered at the CBT test centre.
What Do I Bring On the Day of My CBT Test?
As mentioned you will need to bring the correct clothing and gear to your training if not already supplied by the CBT test school.
Details of what you will need to bring are listed at the checkout and in your email confirmation after you have booked your CBT test.
You must remember to bring your driving licence, whether that's a full UK licence, a provisional or an EU licence. An EU licence must always have its UK counterpart licence number alongside it.
Please bring your national insurance number with you as well in case of a licence check during your training day.
Depending on the location of the CBT test centre you choose to train at, you may need to bring a packed lunch if there's no cafe or shop nearby that you can pop to in your lunch break.
