I did my CBT at Clifton Rugby Club yesterday. I believe my instructor was Sean. He was friendly, polite and professional. I had a lot of fun and would thoroughly recommend Phoenix Motorcycle Training. One thing I think was really good was that Sean didn't hold back on informing us the dangers of using a motorcycle so I really do believe safety was their main priority. Several times throughout the day we were offered to ask questions and the course was well paced. Even though it was a full day it went really quickly! Phoenix Motorcycle Training also seem great because the train their staff with mental health first aid. I'll definitely come back here when I need to do my full motorcycle licence.

Great CBT experience.
There were two Instructors and three trainees of varying age (25 to 53). The Instructors modified their training technique to suit each rider and level of experience, were very knowledgeable, and had a passion for bikes and riding.
It was a full day training, start at 8am and finished at around 4.45pm, with a 2-2.5 hour road ride at the end. I felt I was safe all day and even on the road ride we were connected via Bluetooth headset and I never felt uneasy or unsure of where to go or what to do.
I would like to thank Emma and Will for their patience and I would highly recommend.
I will be going back within the next 2 years to obtain my full licence.

I did my CBT at Clifton Rugby Club
From start to finish the whole day was handled with the upmost proficiency catering for the chap who could ride to first time bikers. I even noticed how well they dealt with one idiot who turned up with no licence and a very bad attitude. I’d like to say big thanks to Shaun, Emma and Will for making the day of learning fun and enjoyable. I will be seeing you in the future for the next stage.

Great staff, friendly and knowledgeable. Emma, who was completing instructor training, I fully expect to be qualified when I return to do my full licence with them. Booked a CBT for my wife using this company. She'd never ridden a motorcycle before, let alone a geared machine. I bought the training as a gift and the female member of staff I spoke to over the phone when I booked it was very helpful and reassuring. After the training, my wife had nothing but praise for the assessor she had on the day, he was patient, knowledge and took the time to help her.
We will definitely use this company again to book her training for her Mod 1 and 2.

Both instructors were great and clear at explaining what is expected of us on and off the road during the cbt. A couple of issues with some of the bikes meant the day went on longer than it should (not the instructors fault). Also not best pleased to hear someone had paid almost £70 less than me to be on the same course. I don’t know why there’s varying prices for people for the same course. Kind of strange. Nothing bad to say about the instructors.

I completed my CBT yesterday with Phoenix and I couldn't give better feedback if I tried! They were excellent, taking time to explain everything as I was a complete novice to riding, listening to questions and encouraging me to try again, explaining things in a different way if I wasn't quite getting it. Nothing was too much trouble and they were so supportive throughout. I had a laugh with them and thoroughly enjoyed my day of training. Thank you so much, I'll be back for the next stage!

Excellent tuition from our instructor, Simon. Prior to my CBT day I’d never ridden a motorbike. Good advice on the trickier sections of the morning course got me through the two hour road ride. Clear and precise communication on the road ride made things much easier. Would recommend.

Did my cbt with Phoenix in September last year, Will and Simon are quality instructor and a great laugh made the whole experience feel very relaxed, I had a fantastic day and left with a smile on my face feeling confident. Recently did a big bike assessment with Greg in February and now about to take my mod1 and mod2 tests in April. I would highly recommend the team…booking my cbt and DAS with no problems whatsoever. Customer service is fantastic very quick to respond even through Email. Fingers crossed for my up coming tests and I will be taking my advance riding course with Phoenix.

Was very fortunate to have Will as my instructor for the day. As a trainer and instructor myself I found him to be engaging, energetic, friendly and highly competent. It was clear we had the more personable of the 2 available for the day.
Helped adapt my riding style to my military disabilities and made the qualifying ride a great consolidation of our learning as well as both safe and enjoyable.thanks Will, great day had.

Only a few of us on the course (numbers limited by the circumstances) so it felt safe. Excellent instructor, clever bloke with a sense of humour and very competent. I was quite worried going in but stress dissipitated as soon as it started and had a great time reconnecting with motorbikes.

Recently completed my 3rd CBT course, the most recent being with Phoenix. Despite having more experience than the other trainee's, we were all treated the same way, which was perfect 👌
Mark was a really calming instructor who made the whole experience enjoyable.
Would recommend Phoenix to anyone wanting training for scooter's and motorcycles.

I did a refresher course as I had not rode a motorcycle for 30 years!
Mark was a great instructor and had me slaloming around cones in no time and riding on the roads around Bristol.
If you want to get back to riding I would recommend taking the course.

From start to finish a great experience. A nice and friendly welcoming in the morning followed by a very good induction and great delivery on all the training, all of that throughout the day. Fantastic.
Having used different Centres in the past I can happily say this was by far the very best experience I’ve had and witnessed.
Will recommend these guys to everyone I possibly can for sure. Super stuff.

Great place to get a CBT. Mark was an excellent instructor and accommodated for everything. The bikes were basically brand new and the training area allowed us to practice everything we needed to get out onto the road. Would highly recommend.

I had my CBT today with the guys at Chippenham, although we had the weather against us 🌧 I throughly enjoyed the whole day, they are so friendly and make you feel so relaxed from the moment you meet them.
They are very good instructors, knowledgeable, patient and professional.
I done my CBT on a 125 geared motorcycle which was a lovely little bike to learn on.
BIG thanks guys 👍🏻, I’ll be back to do my full license early next year.
