done my cbt on the 20/8/23 with Ben, he was so thorough with the training and made me feel so safe whilst i was out on the road. made a few mistakes which he could have easily put me down as a fail for as one of them were major but no he wanted me to pass so we went back and did it again about 3-4 times until we were both happy. he explained everything so clearly and made sure that you were happy with what you were doing and felt safe at all times. gave me lots of pointers to help me improve and i passed first time because of him. thank you so much ben, iam so grateful for what you do and what i achieved on that day.

Our instructor Ben was phenomenal - super easy to got on with, and gave us loads of great training. He made sure we were comfortable at every stage of the day. He went above and beyond anything I was expecting, giving us guidance on key things like safety, what equipment we should buy, as well as his thoughts on bikes that I was looking at buying along with plenty of useful tips - whilst the nature of the day was serious, he made sure to make the day quite fun and myself and a friend had a blast - great to also pass first time without any issues.
Would highly recommend these guys to anyone looking to do CBT like i did, or the higher up courses - you're in safe hands!

I completed my CTB on 14/06/23. I have no experience on a motorcycle and arrived a little nervous. My instructor Ben was welcoming, knowledgable and professional. He made instructions simple and precise, instantly I felt comfortable. Out on the road Bens instructions were clear and easy to follow. Thanks a lot guys for a great day and a special thanks to Ben for teaching me how to ride a scooter!

Having never ridden a geared motorbike before, I chose Dorset Advanced Motorcycle Training due to their reputation and reviews, and today really illustrated just how well deserved they are.
Having my car, bus and lorry licences (as well as having been an instructor myself) I have met lots of instructors, but there isn’t a single one that had the patience, professionalism, and genuine friendliness shown by Ben today. He is absolutely amazing, even to the point that because we hadn’t completed the necessary requirements in time, he even stayed on longer tonight just to ensure that we passed.
I cannot hesitate but to recommend. I went from being a complete novice to feeling safe on the road in a day, and I sincerely doubt that many other schools or instructors could have done the same thing.
Their reputation is fully deserved, and I would highly recommend them to anyone thinking about doing a CBT or license.

Did my CBT there on Wednesday and had Micheal as my instructor. He made me feel at complete ease even when I was feeling nervous and was so friendly and approachable which is a big thing for me as I have anxiety! Lovely man and passed my CBT which was amazing! Thank you Micheal, best instructor for anyone looking to learn!

Fantastic!!!!!
My son who is 16 had a full day's CBT test today with Michael. He has never ridden but is super confident and really wants to ride. Michael was brilliant with him. He passed !!! Fin will be booking another course with you very soon to learn manual gears so when he is 17 he can ride his 125 safely with L plates. And then continue to another course so he can ride without them. Thank you Michael and all at Dorset Advanced. See you again soon. Highly recommend. As a Mum I feel alot better that he's learning the basics in the correct way and he understands the safety requirements. The more experience and support he can get from you guys before he goes on the road alone the better. Thank you !!!

Highly recommended.
I previously completed a CBT, and most recently my DAS, with Dorset Advanced, and found them to be nothing other than calm, courteous, knowledgable, and professional in their training and wider support.
Norm’s expertise was invaluable, and his approach to producing well-rounded riders, and not just ‘teaching to the test’, made learning both easy and enjoyable. Test day came and went comfortably as a result.

Absolutely fantastic training from Norman, just successfully completed my DAS course today! Patient and excellent tutoring given. Each day was well structured to build confidence stepping up into driving bigger bikes. Mix of off road and on the road training and of course the regular coffee pit stops!!
This followed my CBT refresher a couple of weeks back with Charlie who also gave very good training.
Looking forward with confidence now to getting myself an upgrade on my 125!!
Highly recommend to anyone looking to complete any training.

I enrolled for the six day course in order for me to pass my Part 1 and Part 2 motorcycle test.
I had the pleasure of having Norman as my instructor. To say that he was ‘outstanding’ in his ability to teach and instruct does not go far enough.
He is the best instructor for anyone who is nervous and lacks confidence.
Any mothers out there wishing their sons/ daughters to learn to ride in a safe responsible fashion then this is the No1 place to go. It is a family run firm who are conscientious and passionate about their work.
Thanks to Dorset Advanced I can now take down my L plates! I really appreciate my time with them and I wish Dorset Advanced all the very best.

I did my cbt today with Advanced. Outstanding service. Lisa was brilliant and walked me through everything with loads of knowledge and patience. By the end of the day I was feeling very confident on the bike despite starting the day full of nerves. Would absolutely recommend these guys

I've passed my CBT here yesterday! I have an EEC license so It was quite a procedure but even before I booked they have helped me and talked me through what forms will I need from the DVLA and gave me all the necessary information.
I havent sat on a motorbike for the last 6 years but my instructor was a suuuper experienced and nice lady who brought me up to speed very efficiently and got that rust off of my skills.
I chose the worst day for riding as it was foggy below 0 degrees and drizzling rain my instructor asked me 2 times if Im comfortable enough to continue which I did.
Was quite a day but it was also fun!
I highly reccomend them and Ill be back this summer for my unlimited license!

Myself and my partner both passed with Norm, of whom is the most patient and informative man I’ve ever come across! He’s friendly and trains you to higher than test standard so the test itself becomes a breeze! He worked really hard with me as I was very nervous. Very pleasant to deal with, Sue was most helpful in trying to get our tests booked in with the whole covid circumstance. Will always buy you a coffee too! Very pleased with the outcome and I’ll be hearing Norm’s instructions in my head for the foreseeable!

Norm is the best and most patient motorbike instructor I've seen. I passed my MOD1 and MOD2 first time due to Norm's excellent training. Sue is also friendly and brilliant at organising the dates and timings for my training and tests. It was an overall amazing experience and I'd recommend training with Dorset Advanced to anyone I meet.

After a experience at another cbt centre where I was left nervous of riding a bike and nearly thinking of putting my bike on ebay I phoned Sue who completely put my mind at rest that Norman could on a one to one basis restore my confidence. She was dead right.With infinate patience Norman helped me restore my confidence.His calm attitude and kind encouragement has allowed me today to gain my CBT! I would say to anybody this training centre is the best ever.

BIG Thanks Norm! Passed my DAS mod 1 and 2 last year with Dorset Advanced Motorcycle Training. He's an incredibly talented and patient instructor. Norm trains you to a higher than pass standard, but more importantly he builds your confidence and gets you road ready! He's also a really nice guy too, and ride out with him feels like a ride out with a mate.
