You're covered! Here's what that means.

You've added the Peace of Mind Policy to your CBT booking.

This page tells you exactly what it covers, what it doesn't, and what to do if you need to claim after your training day.

What the policy is designed for

Situation Covered
Your instructor stops training due to a skill issue. Yes
Balance, clutch control, steering or general riding ability. Yes

The policy cannot be applied if you don't meet the basic requirements to train, or have failed to prepare for the day. CBT Training is a DVSA complaint course, so it's important to follow the requirements and preparation needed to train.

Requirement What this means Covered if missed
Clothing Jacket, thick trousers, ankle-protecting boots. No
Documents Valid UK provisional or full driving licence photocard + national insurance number. No
Eyesight Must be able to read a numberplate from 20.5 metres, with or without glasses. No
Highway Code Knowledge You'll need basic knoweldge of the Highway Code. Your instructor will assess this during training. No
English language You need to communicate with your instructor throughout the day. No
Arrive on time Late arrivals cannot be accommodated for any reason. No

How to claim your second day of training

If your instructor tells you that you need more time, don't be disheartened, that's exactly what your Peace of Mind Policy is there for.

  1. Email hello@rideto.com within 48 hours of your training day
  2. We'll send you a short form to complete.
  3. Once we've reviewed everything, we'll get back to you within 48 hours.
  4. If approved, you'll receive a voucher to rebook your second day through the RideTo website.

A couple of other things worth knowing

You need to contact us within 48 hours of your training day, we can't accept claims made after this.

Your second day training voucher is valid for 14 days from issue.

The policy covers one extra day only and does not guarantee you'll complete the course on your second attempt. Any further training after that would need to be paid for separately.

The policy is valid once per customer.

We outline the full T&Cs here, which we recommend you read.
