About 1066 Motorcycle Training
1066 Motorcycle training school in Bexhill on Sea specialise in helping young and nervous riders get on the road. They have a fun and friendly (yet professional) way of teaching to make you feel relaxed and enjoy your rider training.
The school is located along the South East coast and is easily accessible from Eastbourne, Tunbridge wells, and Brighton (which is just 40 mins away). Bexhill is ideal for motorcycle training with its varied roads that sweep and twist up to and over Beachy Head along with its busier town roads.
The instructors at 1066 have over 100 years of experience between the 5 of them! So you can relax knowing that they have been through all sorts of situations possible!
Their training school in Bexhill has an indoor classroom, however if the weather is nice (remember it’s situated on the sunshine coast!) you may even get taught outside! There is a cafe onsite and a constant supply of coffee available for you throughout the day to keep you energised or to warm you up if your training is in the winter. The whole team is renowned for being super friendly so you can guarantee a great training experience here.

Completed my CBT today and went very smoothly. The instructors were very friendly and knowledgable. Will definitely be going back to complete my full license with them. I would highly recommend 1066 to everyone wanting to start on a motorbike.

Had a 3 hr session with Gary. Doing a refresh course was struggling to ride a 125 around circuit but by end of session was riding roads on a 650 confident and safe. Thanks for patience and brilliant session Gary realy enjoyed it. Highly recommend these guys

I recently did a DAS with 1066, going from a CBT all the way up to my full A licence, having been riding for less than a 12 months total.
The team are fantastic, extremely knowledgeable and enthusiastic about what they do whilst being patient and accommodating to those with less experience or that are a bit less confident/anxious.
Passed both my MOD1 and MOD2 first time, with only one minor on the MOD1 (1km/h under on the emergency stop!) and a clean sheet on the MOD2.
Many thanks to Gary who did the bulk of my training, Sharon who helped me refine skills and to keep my nerves at bay on test days, and Neil who hammered home some of the MOD1 exercises. I can't thank you all enough, and thanks to the rest of the team for their can-do and friendly attitudes which helped keep me confident and keen to engage with the training.
It makes a real difference to learn from people that teach for the love of riding Vs just doing it as a job.
My only regret is not getting my licence sooner.

Me and my partner just completed our CBT with 1066 Motorcycle Training. The staff are absolutely incredible; super friendly, patient and extremely knowledgeable. We had an absolute blast training with Sharon & Neil today, got to chat a lot with Gary too and would recommend any of these trainers to anybody. Took my cbt and then booked my a1 motorbike test with Neil and Gary.
I had not riden motorbikes before and they knew exactly how to get me ready to go out on the bigger bikes. After a couple of days I felt very comfortable on the bike. Would highly recommend using 1066 for the training.

Fantastic staff and training but the lack of communication is unbelievable, hopefully it's just my case, had part of CBT done, and kept calling and calling to book a test l, 3 weeks later after no phone calls text or emails returned, when they do finally answer thr phone they hung up twice after telling me to "hold a bit"? .. decided to go somewhere else

Neil and his whole team are fantastic. They are all friendly, informative and fun to learn with. The bikes I've used have all been brilliant, and it has been great to try out a few to give me an idea of what to buy once I've finished my DAS. The training paddock is quite challenging to start with due to a slight slope on it... Initially I thought this was a negative, but practicing on it meant that the test was much easier! And guess what... the real world isn't flat either! ;-)

Had a really good day doing my CBT, Johnny is a great instructor and made the whole thing seem really simple. I had not ridden a bike for nearly 30 years, and he was great at helping me to get my confidence back. He is definitely worth a 5 star rating. The reason I’ve only given 3 stars is because when I tried to book to do my full license, my calls were not returned, I understand that people can be busy, so didn’t mind being asked to send a text with my details, still no call back, I sent another text asking if it would be easier if I popped up at some point, this also went unanswered, so I am now doing my training somewhere else.

Just passed my CBT, absolutely amazing instructors, have a few learning difficulties and had a private chat, they straight away asked me if there is any way they can help me better.
They give very clear and easy to understand instructions, trust your instructor they know what they're doing, doesn't matter what you think or what you think you know listen to their advice, really helped me on my figure of eights, he pulled me to the side and had a chat we he could see I was struggling, we tried something different and got it first try, amazing support, very big thank you to the team.

If you're looking to get on a bike for the first time this is the place to go. The staff were friendly and the instructors took their time to go through everything with the group to ensure that we'd be safe on the road. An absolutely fantastic, enjoyable day!

Started my CBT with them last june and did my DAS late of august to september. I passed my Mod 1 and Mod2 this week, 1st take. Instructors were so friendly, very hands on to all of their students and shared their knowledge through their years of experience. It's definitely worth it.

Just got done doing a DAS course with the guys at 1066 today and passed first time thanks to the fantastic training provided.
If you are considering doing any training with 1066 you will be in good hands. They provided high quality motorcycles that are perfect for learning on. They create a safe but fun learning environment for you to gain your confidence and will go the extra mile to help your individual needs or struggles. If you've seen cheaper training elsewhere do take into consideration that you get what you pay for and I have no regrets having worked with 1066, they taught me not just how to pass my test but how to stay safe for a lifetime of riding.

I did my CBT, MOD1 & MOD2 with 1066. The Training was both flexible and highly professional with road sessions adapted to cover areas where I felt needed more confidence. 1066 staff are all very welcoming and confidence inspiring. Come down and show them what you can do and you'll be given the guidance you need to pass. I started my lessons on Thursday one week, did Mod 1 on Monday the week following, and had passed Mod 2 with no minors by Wednesday! Couldn't be happier. Now I have been offered to sell my 125cc bike through 1066, and upgrade, so it is a service that is all encompassing!
