ORMT formally known as Open Road Motorcycle Training have now launched this site in Perry Barr. The have an awesome team of qualified instructors who are all accredited by the Driving Vehicle Standards Agency offering both Compulsory Basic Training and Full Licence training, no matter your skill these experienced instructors will help your achieve your motorcycle ambitions.

Before you arrive on site please ensure you are wearing sturdy boots, thick unripped jeans and your own motorcycle helmet. If you're unable to arrange motorcycle gloves and a jacket before hand the instructor is able to provide these, we do however always suggest using your own motorcycle kit to ensure the best fit and therefore protection. The training site itself boasts all the facilities you could need including: onsite parking, changing room and toilets, access to goals cafe if you didn't bring your packed lunch.

The training site is based at Goals 5 aside football ground Perry Barr making this a really popular location to train thanks to its easily accessible central location. Once you've exited Perry Barry train station the training ground is less than a 20 minute walk door to door. For those looking to take the bus, the number 74 bus services the area, with the Booth St bus stop only a 3 minute walk away from the training centre.

Wouldn't touch them with a barge pole, closed for over a week no response to emails phone calls and texts, requested refund, none given, this geezer is a SNOWFLAKE Wouldn't recommend to anyone.

Its a shame to write this because I originally had a good experience last year for my CBT.. the guy I had was amazing and I can't fault him at all (ex police rider, forgotten his name!) However this year my husband was due his retake for his cbt.. I drove him there, and we waited over an hour. We had 2 kids with us at the time. No one answering the phone .. we called multiple times .. emailed.. text. After an hour we get told it is cancelled. My husband booked annual leave for this.. communication was absolutely shocking and Nicky is a disgrace with the way they talk to paying customers. We are still chasing a refund .. yet to recieve it. For your own sanity use a company that can actually organise themselves, communicate effectively and actually care about their customers. Will never use them again!

Had a very negative experience with another provider and it knocked my confidence a little. When I arrived to ORMT I was immediately welcomed and met with a calm and relaxed energy which made me feel at ease. My instructor used to be a police motorcyclist so I knew I was in good hands. The instructor was very easy to get a long with, had patience and talked through everything we needed to know. The approach to training really made a difference, I've been on the road for roughly a week now, racking up over a couple hundred miles and I'm loving every minute of it. One hundred percent recommend these guys, they'll look after you and ensure you have the knowledge to stay safe on the road. Thank you 🙏

Nick the owner of the business is one of the worst people i have had experience of talking to on the phone, so rude and a downright scammer, if you are new to riding and want to learn avoid these guys like a plague they will ruin your confidence
