Once you pass your CBT training in Harrow and have got your CBT certificate, you will be legally allowed to ride a 50cc or 125cc scooter or motorbike, as long as you are 17 or older. If you are 16 years of age, you will only be allowed to ride a 50cc moped.
You need to be 16 or over and have a UK driving, UK provisional or EU licence with a UK counterpart licence number. You will need to bring the physical licence with you to your CBT training, photocopies or images or it will not be accepted.
Speaking and being able to read English is very important as you will need to listen to the instructor and respond to any questions they may ask to make sure you’ve understood everything.
You will need to show you have good insight, so bring glasses/wear contact lenses if you need to. You will be asked to read a registration plate from 20.5 metres away. Having good balance is key so you can handle a motorbike so you will be asked to confirm that you can safely ride an adult-sized push bike.
Other than that just bring with you your national insurance number and suitable clothing, all of which is listed in your confirmation email.
