Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Could have a laugh throughout, but were on the ball at all times where safety was concerned. Gear and equipment provided was in good condition, I wore their helmet and gloves. Saw them work with others on equipment, including lending boots despite that not being guaranteed on their site, though ymmv. Not a thoughtless CBT mill, saw them recommend other trainers with specific language skills where there was too large a language barrier, and also decline to do practical road training where highway code knowledge was insufficient.

Jason, Graham, and Co are a great team that are very focused on teaching how to ride properly and safely. Did my CBT with them last year and just passed full A license training / test with Jason. The style is tough love at first, but that’s to prep you for a strict MOD2. By test time, it’s all encouragement. Some of the reviews, like all Google reviews, are unfair. Alpha are crystal clear what the requirements are and they have to follow them by law, let alone the fact they put themselves at risk every time they get on the road with you. Follow instructions, take feedback, you’ll be good.

Did a 1-2-1 gear conversion course with Bjorn. I hadn't done any practice on a bike other than a CBT with an automatic scooter 3 weeks prior, so it was my first time touching a geared bike. He was patient, encouraging, enthusiastic, and gave very clear instructions. As I got the basics he started giving me precise suggestions to help correct little weaknesses and tips on how to go from OK to great, including tips about gear to invest in. After about an hour of supervised maneuvours I was free to ride around the industrial estate on my own for 30 minutes, to practice using higher gears. Whole sessions was 1.5h - I only wish it were longer :)

Amazing experience with Alpha Motorcycle Training, I did my CBT with them a few months back and have just completed and passed my full motorcycle license with them. Throughout my entire time training, the staff have always been really friendly, extremely thorough with their teaching and always willing to help. I also want to give a thank you to my instructor Jason for his guidance throughout the training, always giving clear and concise instructions specific to my riding and if he spotted an issue with a particular aspect my riding or a specific manoeuvre he would correct it and make sure I practiced it until I had full confidence in executing it. Overall I'm really happy with the training I received from them and would highly recommend these guys to anyone who wants to learn to ride a motorbike for the first time or is ready to do their full license

Man, i have to say, i enjoyed every bit of the CBT training, mainly because the gentlemen were so professional yet so chilled out which made you feel at ease (great sense of humour). Yes they do not budge on ensuring road safety, as it should be. Yes they want to ensure you can ride a bike properly so you don't go out there and be a danger to the community and yes they make their instructions very clear, too clear and if some of you don't bother reading and following them, your loss, your ignorance. This has to be the best training centre available. Jason n Rob does a really good job at making sure you pass your CBT to its fullest and that to properly. Really happy with the experience and their level of teaching and the way they explain things. I’d really recommend it.

Just finished my DAS course a few of days ago, and I now have a full motorcycle licence, I can honestly say it's thanks to Dave and Jason, I was very inexperienced and nervous, but they were both very patient and gave clear and easy to understand instructions. I didn't spend much time speaking to the other instructors but they all seem like a good bunch of blokes too, so there's no worries there. If you train with Alpha I've got no doubt they'll do everything they can to help you get the job done. would recommend.

What a privilege was it to be taught by these fellas, all instructors were polite, funny and encouraging and more specifically my instructor Dave, He was great!. To be quite honest when I arrived in the morning I was shy, nervous and lacked confidence and it was clear to see. A part of me didn’t want to do it, however I stuck it out all because I didn’t want to quit. Dave saw this lack of confidence and was patient and also very understanding, He took extra time teaching me and didn't give up on me, we spoke and found the source of the problem, after that I had felt more relaxed and more confident he knew I had what it took. His patience and confidence in me was the boost that I needed, his direction was very clear and his emphasis on safety was top notch, honestly some of the best teaching I've seen in a while! Great experience. My instructor was Dave, who took his job seriously, being very clear on the importance of safety and awareness on the road but who was also friendly and fun. I have gained a CBT several times over the years but can say that this was one of my most positive experiences. I feel as if I gained some new knowledge and reminders on how to be a better rider, which is just what I needed.

Genuinely one of the nicest experiences I had with any sort of instruction. Came in a bit nervous, as most people would, but our instructor Dave was so friendly you couldn’t help but let go of those nerves. He was friendly from the get go and had a set of one the best teaching skills I have seen. Everything was explained so well and all you have to do is just listen and you would be sure to pass. If you are looking for somewhere where you will not just get a certificate but learn everything to be safe and be in a friendly environment then this is the place. Had the absolute privilege of being taught by the one and only legendary instructor Jason. He guided me through the basics of my module one test. After building up my confidence and riding technique, I found myself acing my module 2 for my full license. With a zero faults pass rate, I can’t thank Jason enough! My husband passed yesterday the CBT with Alpha from the first time. He was very excited about the training received and the standards that were delivered. It was the second time for him on a motorbike but the instructor made him feel confident and explained the importance to be a safe road user. His instructor was Dave, very nice attitude with a desire to teach others and very good coach skills. Some cannot understand the importance of the Highway Code, he explained to us over and over again and I can understand when someone fails on this, if you cannot understand your responsibilities as a road user you cannot expect others to do it for you. Did my CBT here yesterday and received top class instruction from Fluffy. The whole team here is friendly and fun, but with safety as an absolute priority. He even assessed me on the road as a guide to how much training I need for the next steps. It was really useful and constructive guidance. My only advice is LISTEN to what they're telling you, LOOK when they're trying to show you something for your own benefit, and LEARN while you're there. Before you book, please take some time to learn the highway code, they're not here to babysit you. It's critical that you show an adequate standard to go on the road (for safety reasons, obviously). Fantastic bunch of guys and I can't wait to do my full license training!

The training center is easy to find, close to the station and has a parking. The instructors are patient, understanding and they will show and teach you properly so you will have the confidence to go out and start riding. Dave, in particular, was amazing. Great experience and would highly recommend it!

It’s worst experience. They only making money. They give silly reasons for failing. Given reasons don’t know sign and can’t control handle. While already passed car theory test. Driving since 6 years. Very rude Instructor and he failed all 3 people with the same reason. Are there every student bad? While another instructor passed 3 students. those students told they paid extra money. So they do pass or fail depend on how much you can pay.

Please do study up on your Highway Code before hand as this will greatly affect the outcome of your course. So to save yourself the time and money, study. Now with all that being said, for someone who has never rode a motorcycle before, Steve my instructor did an amazing job with delivering the information and instructions I needed to excel in my training. I would Highly recommend booking with Alpha Motorcycle Training.

Likely a scam. These guys are running a business. They fail 1st timers on any basis so they can bleed you dry with re-admission fees. They try to entice you by offering you a £20 discount as well as gaslight you by trying to make you feel like you are at fault for failing. In reality they rush the training and barely give you a chance (2 minutes maximum) even when you on application that you have NO EXPERIENCE. I guess they can't understand that concept. Furthermore any time the instructor said my name he would say it with a mocking tone or with a slight scoff. Very unnecessary and in a sense hateful. I'm sure you are aware of the connotation surrounding my name. I believe that he failed me due to this reason. When I questioned why I failed the instructor spited me by lying on the form saying that "I fell". I tried to teach him what the word fall actually means: (of a person) lose one's balance and collapse. Not once did I even come close to that. Important to not that I did not pay the £10 liability fee. If I did indeed fall then surely the scooter would follow too as I cannot hold it upright, and I'd be paying for repairs. The truth is that none of that happened, me or my bike did not collide or fall on ANYTHING the entire training, illustrated by the fact that I'm not being needed to pay any repairs. My pitiful instructor (43M) could not stop bragging about his exotic holidays, his "financial freedom" and even told us that he wants us to hurry up and finish early so he can "get a quickie". Likely why he failed me prematurely. Get a grip.

Although this was a long journey for me to travel, i would do it all again if it means the instructors at Alpha Motorcycle training were there to Instruct. Fluffy and Jason were my main instructors and they were firm, direct and got you comfortable with what you had to do throughout the whole training. Graham who manages the whole booking of the training and the lovely Nadine who assisted with the riders when and if required. I would recommend this establishment to anyone....anyone who wants to ride safely. they are not just teaching you to pass your test, they are teaching you to ride safely. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. 5* PASSED my DA course with flying colours and cant wait to go on these long road trips with other rides. :-)

Jason is hands down an incredible teacher. He knows what is most important for you to know to keep you safe on a bike. I had the worst experience at a different school and didn't receive my CBT from them - then when I got to Alpha I was mind blown at how they explained everything so clearly. They acknowledged that panicking is normal but that staying calm is key. I'm also a girl rider and it was nice to be treated as a real person and not just a girl on a bike.

Great school, not sure what they could have done better. Jason, Bob, Steve - all incredibly patient and made me feel at ease going on a 600 for the first time. They're also very polite to other road users and examiners, which is always a good sign. Passed both mod 1 and mod 2 here. Definitely recommend.

Although I went in for the training knowing nearly nothing about riding a motorcycle by the of the day I was riding around wembley and confident of my ability to ride on the road. They are just a waste of time, after having practice on my bike, he said we were going to have a break and then we had a quiz on the highway road, he said my quiz was good but I can’t be on the road yet because I need more practise so they just wasted one hour of me waiting within a break and doing some quiz when I could’ve have been home after the training was ‘needed more training on’. There was only me and another individual so he could have given me an extra 10 minutes and I would’ve been as he has said. The only reason why he told me to go because there was only 2 instructors and there was limited amount of people that were allowed to go out for the assessment. Four of my other friends want to do the CBT test but I will not let them to do it here Do not recommend if you want time wasted and not being told anything.

I trained with Jason for my full motorcycle licence and would highly recommend him. Jason obviously has a wealth of experience and gives detailed, specific feedback. He trains you to a high standard, to the extent that the Mod 1 and 2 tests are straightforward. More than anything, you can tell that motorcycling is a passion for him and he genuinely wants the best for his clients and so he'll always push you to improve and become a better and safer driver.

I have to say my cbt experience made my day. It was an experience which went from "wow" too "wooaahhh". My instructor was Mr Steve Ravenhill. I mean what an incredible top man for the job. You couldn't of picked anyone better to do that job for sure. If I had to describe him and my experience in a few short words which can't do it justice. I'd say, he was the following: - very knowledable (knows his stuff trust me there always something you could learn. I did! despite being a road user for 14 years theoretically as well as the practical) - enthusiastic (proper fun especially when you go out for road ride and in class as well. Never in my life have I had more pleasure riding on the street with someone then with him). - Jolly and a good laugh (far from boring, miserable or making you anxious the man is the total opposite) - Super calm and collective. - Qualified experience rider (it's like riding through the jungle with a pack of wolves lol super fun as well he keeps a good eye for details and helps you improve every step of the way. By not dimensing you but by encouraging and improving you every single step. - Passionate (you can really tell the difference between people who love doing there job and those who don't because it reflects in them teaching you the job and you as the customer/rider experience. By far the best teaching instructor I've seen anywhere! If I had rate the experience and instructor and give them both 10 out of 10. Don't take my word for it try him yourself. I got super lucky today all day. From the parking to the end of the day and to be paired up with him. Well done Team Alpha and thanks Steve! Honestly, you couldn't of hired a better Rockstar for the role. The kind of staff member you want to retain for good. Will be back real soon to do my full licence. Hopefully, I get to go out with him again as my instructor.

Amazing place to do your CBT. I went today, and never have driven a motorcycle, never even a motorised vehicle. Thanks to my instructor Ewan, I’ve had a great experience today, learning the basics to everything on a scooter, from mechanics to riding it on the road. I completed my CBT training with Jason yesterday. It was a great day with a well experienced and patient instructor. I enjoyed all the tips and advice I received. I teach children myself and it was fabulous to switch from being a teacher to be a student. I understood that CBT is a beginning and that the learning is starting now. I think of others on the road and satisfy is paramount and the most important thing. I will be back to train for the A1 unrestricted license. Thank you Jason.

I chose Alpha to go through with the CBT certificate course I needed for work because of the good reviews and honestly, I could not recommenced Alpha motorcycle MORE! As someone who has licences in multiple countries, I was amazed at the level of professionalism and care taken throughout the day. From the basics of the bike all the way to Riding safety everything was explained very well. Des was a great teacher and instilled the importance of safety and control in every one of the students individually and the group as a whole. I recently passed the A2 licence test through Alpha Motorcycle Training. Jason, who I did the training with is a brilliant instructor and is very passionate about his job and all things bikes. This shows through the quality training I recieved! Not only did he get me up to scratch for the module 1 and module 2 tests but gave me very good advice on bikes in general and how to improve my riding. Graham was also very helpful in organising the training and tests for me. I would highly recommend Alpha Motorcycle Training. I will be coming back to do the unrestricted licence in time. Did my CBT on a 125cc bike on Saturday with Des. I had a really good day considering I never changed gears on a bike before. Des was a great instructor who explained everything easily and tells you what to improve. On the road ride, Des tells you what mistakes you are making and then let’s you have another chance so you can fix your errors. It is a great way to learn.

Ewan is an amazing instructor 10/10 I came to AMT to do an ITM with broken confidence after having a bad experience doing a CBT at a different training school. In the space of 30/40 minutes Ewan built up my confidence from nothing. He's a practical instructor and showed me what I was doing wrong and how to improve. He is firm but fair and incredibly funny. He was incredibly skilled at putting me at ease and removing my nerves. He was also understanding and patience - the perfect instructor. I left AMT with a sense of confidence and achievement. I can't thank Ewan enough for his instruction and helping me achieve something I thought was beyond my ability.

PASSED MY CBT TODAY: I was nervous at first but the instructor introduced himself in a friendly way and proceeded to go through all the necessary processes in a structured manor, covering the basics and then gradually getting everyone up to speed. Gave some great advice and thorough explanation on safety. used examples of personal experiences and scenarios to explain the importance of following the correct safety procedures. Overall it was a great experience learning to ride with Des (the instructor). From this experience i can say I would recommend this place for CBT in general but especially for any courier riders as Alpha training is certified and will insure you are safe to be on the road. As a middle aged rounder round the waist bloke that works too much I decided that I was going to fulfil my childhood dream of getting a bike licence. So I strolled down to Alpha Motorcycle training school because it's down the road from our office and declared my intention to the guys at Alpha. Against their better judgment I assume, they stopped themselves from laughing in my face and actually gave me sound advice about the steps to follow and offered training dates around my works schedule. Graham sorted everything out including test dates and times and Jason took the challenge of getting me ready for the tests. Jason's training was direct and to the point, he zoomed on my weaknesses and bad habits and slowly set about taking me to an acceptable level of riding. Thanks to Jason's perseverance and dedication I passed both my Mod 1 and Mod 2 first time. I definitely enjoyed the training and particularly liked the fact that the guys never got tired of my questions about everything biking. Tl;dr: book them now, they're excellent. I had the pleasure to do my Module 1 and Module 2 training with these gents, passing both first time. Martin, Ian, Ewan and Jason all trained me at various times. They are all highly experienced riders who know their bikes, riding and racing like no other school I've been to. I thoroughly enjoyed my time here and would reccomend anyone and everyone to give them a call. Their calm, comedic and expert instruction is well worth your time and money. They talk you through the gear, bikes, shops and everything else to make you feel safe, knowledgeable well inducted into the biking world. Can't fault them. Martin, my instructor, was a great guy, strict during riding but a fantastic instructor who took time to explain faults, giving advice for improvement as opposed to engaging in simple fault picking. I would like to thank Graham and Ian for working with me and getting me through my module 1 and module 2 tests. I passed both tests first time making 1 minor mistake in my module 1 test and 2 minor faults in my module 2 test making it 3 minor faults altogether. Ian was my instructor whilst I was there and is an absolute genius at his job and will get anyone with a bit of common sense through any of the tests first time around. He's extremely passionate about bikes and about what he does for a living. I fully enjoyed every lesson with Ian and always learnt something new about bikes and about the skills required to pass the tests and to keep myself safe whilst riding. Ian is a very patient instructor and very easy to get on with. Finally I would just like to recommend to anyone wishing to get on 2 wheels to not think about it for too long like I did and just give Alpha motorcycle training a call immediately. Alpha motorcycle training is the greatest school within the Wembley and surrounding areas and I guarantee you wont find anyone better or cheaper. 3 minor faults altogether is a great result and I couldn't have gotten through these tests without the help from Alpha motorcycle training. I did a 5 DAS course at Alpha with only a few hours experience on a 125cc under my belt. From my free assessment and the booking process it was obvious I had come to the right place. The atmosphere is very friendly and professional. Training is intensive and starts promptly. The focus on how to ride safely and competently boosted my confidence no end and I passed both tests first time with 1 minor fault on each. Ian and Martin were my instructors, both are great blokes and will see you through your test with ease. Training was 1-to-1 for 4 of the 5 days. The only place to get all your training and licensing! This was the third motorcycle school I have been to and pity I did not find it sooner. Got me fully licensed (passed mod 2 today) with highly professional and adaptable instructors. Excellent equipment and the training rides are always great fun and varied, very low instructor to pupil ratio (sometimes just 1 to 1), great private training area on site also. Ask for Ian as your instructor if you can. Can't recommend highly enough.

Great experience, great staff, great learning. Just passed my mod 2 test 18 months after my mod 1. All it took was 2 training lessons with Ian. Ian is a very knowledgeable and experienced instructor. He gave me very useful feedback and tips. He's such a cool person too. What I also liked is that Graham did everything he could to accomodate my requests. I called him end of April asking to book my mod 2 test by mid May as all my documents were going to expire. Graham was very helpful and managed to book me for a test and 2 lessons on such a short notice. I would strongly recommend this school.
