Remember that one of the limitations of having a CBT as opposed to a full motorbike licence is that you can’t take any passengers on the back, so don’t be tempted when friends ask for a lift as it would be illegal to have anyone on the back when riding.
You also have to display L plates on your bike at all times when on the road, not the coolest thing ever but other vehicles need to be aware that you’re a new rider.
If you decide to ride out of London, you will need to avoid motorways as driving with a CBT licence is illegal on motorways, stick to smaller A roads to get you from A to B.
