Based in Bangor, Gwynedd, Rider Training Bangor is a knowledgeable, friendly, and patient motorbike training provider. We provide tailored CBT and DAS (Direct Access Scheme) motorcycle training courses that enable you to become a safe and legal motorcyclist.
Our CBT courses and training sessions are ideal if you want to learn how to ride a motorcycle or moped safely and Our DAS course allows riders aged 24 and over to progress directly to a full motorcycle license.
Our instructors have been training new riders since 1984, helping countless people to achieve their licences. We were one of the first to offer CBT in North Wales, and due to this we’ve built an enviable reputation.
On the day of training you must:
Have the correct licence card: either UK driving, provisional or EU licence with UK counterpart licence number. If your licence does not have a photo, then a photo ID is also required, such as a passport.
Be able to read a registration plate from 20 meters. If you need glasses to do this, please make sure you bring them with you.
Have a good level of understanding of the Highway code.
Be able to ride an adult sized bicycle.
Wear suitable weather appropriate clothing including sturdy jeans and boots.
