On the day of training, you must have the correct licence card: either UK driving, provisional or EU licence with UK counterpart licence number Have your National Insurance number Be able to read a registration plate from 20 meters Speak and understand English and the Highway code to a good level Be able to ride an adult sized bicycle Wear suitable warm clothing including thick trousers (such as jeans) boot type footwear covering your ankles. CBT Course is a 1-day course designed to prepare new riders to ride up to a 125cc motorcycle or scooter • You cannot ride on motorways or take passengers • You must display L plates • Valid for 2 years What you'll learn The basics of motorcycle controls and handling How to safely ride and control a scooter or motorcycle off road then on road. If the instructor feels you need more training to complete any elements of the course, they will ask you to come back for further training at half the cost.
