Requirements

*******PLEASE READ THIS IN FULL******* - it is extremely important information. By booking with us you confirm you have read the below and also agree to the terms and conditions listed on our website. On the day of training you MUST: MUST WEAR suitable clothing including STURDY JEANS (no rips or holes) and WORK BOOTS OR OTHER FOOTWEAR THAT COVERS YOUR ANKLES - YOUR COURSE WILL NOT GO AHEAD WITH TRACKSUIT BOTTOMS OR TRAINERS! This is for insurance reasons (Please do NOT book a CBT if you do not have jeans or sturdy footwear.) Bring your driving licence (or provisional licence) which must have provisional motorcycle entitlement. (If you have the old style paper licence you must provide photo id in addition to the licence) Bring your national insurance number (we will check with the DVLA you are entitled to ride a motorcycle or moped) Be able to read a registration plate from 20 metres Have a good understanding of the highway code If you have a provisional licence - We STRONGLY recommend you have completed the online Ridefree course and bring the certificate number or certificate screenshot with you to show your instructor - go to https://www.billysbiketraining.com/cbt for further information. This will significantly help with completing your Element E road ride - further training is chargeable at the rate of £25 per hour if needed. You will be required to sign an injury waiver at the start of your training, if you are under 18 please ensure your parent or guardian is present to sign this for you. CBT lasts a full day for most people - although it can take longer. It depends how quickly you learn. Although not a test the instructor must be satisfied that you are safe, CBT IS NOT A "GUARANTEED PASS" you may require additional hours training which is at the discretion of the INSTRUCTOR whose decision is FINAL. If you do require further training, this is priced at £25 per hour until the instructor is satisfied you are safe and you have completed your road ride in full, which is a MINIMUM of two hours but may take longer, this is at the discretion of the instructor.
