IMPORTANT! PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING A CBT...
If you have ZERO experience riding a motorcycle with gears and a clutch, and you have no driving experience, please do consider doing an Introduction To Motorcycling (ITM) course BEFORE booking your CBT training day. This is a short course focussing on the mechanical skills that you will need to gain before being allowed on the road. Extra training is NEVER a waste of time or money!
Learning to ride and drive in one day is a big ask and having to re-take a CBT costs a lot more than an ITM, which will prepare you for the CBT day and give you a head start. Reduce the stress and increase your chances of reaching the standards required!
Please also STUDY THE HIGHWAY CODE, especially if you do not drive. We cannot over emphasise the importance of this for novice riders.
Requirements
On the day of training you must :
Have a provisional UK driving license with provisional motorcycle entitlement
Be able to read a registration plate from 20 meters
Have a good understanding of the Highway Code - You will be tested and require 9/14 correct to proceed with the days training
Wear suitable clothing including sturdy jeans and boots with ankle protection not steel toecap.
Riders must bring their own motorcycle helmet, gloves, and jacket, as these are not provided. Please ensure you have the necessary protective gear before attending training.
