London to Windsor | Motorcycle Ride
A beautiful escape from the hustle and bustle of the city, head on out for a day trip to the beautiful Windsor Castle.
This route will take you around 1hr to 1hr 30mins depending on the time of day and takes you along the A3 through Richmond passing the wonderful Richmond park or If you want to stop for a coffee break, then we highly recommend popping into Kiss the Hippo who roast their own coffee too. The journey continues on through Hampton Court where you can take in the brilliant Hampton Court Palace. A truly stunning place.
Carrying along on the A308 you will find yourself arriving at Runnymede, where if you're to believe the stories, is where the historic sealing of the Magna Carta took place back in 1215. Certainly worth checking out.
Your journey will take you on through Old Windsor and up to Windsor Castle itself where you can pull up and take in the sheer beauty of the place. The 13 acre castle has been home to Royalty for over a 1000 years and is the largest and oldest occupied castle in the world. You can book yourself in a tour or just enjoy the grounds.
Fancy a bite to eat before heading home? Stop in at the Windsor Grill for not only the best steak but some of the best food in town.
This route may not be filled with the most outstanding biker roads around but on a wonderful sunny day you can take it easy and really enjoy the history of some of London's oldest landmarks.
